1、.高中必修1第2單元第1課時(shí)Lesson Plan of Unit 2 English around the worldWarming up and Reading The road to modern English(第1課時(shí))一、教材內(nèi)容分析中國(guó)學(xué)生從小學(xué)開始接觸英語到現(xiàn)在英語學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間不短,但是對(duì)于英語本身的了解又有多少呢? 本單元通過對(duì)“世界英語”這一話題的探討,以加強(qiáng)學(xué)生對(duì)英語語言的了解,對(duì)當(dāng)代語言特別是英語發(fā)展趨勢(shì)的了解。世界在變化、時(shí)代在發(fā)展、社會(huì)在前進(jìn),作為人類交流的工具,語言必然隨著時(shí)代的發(fā)展而變化,英語也隨著社會(huì)的發(fā)展和不同人群的交流而不斷變化。作為本單元的第一課時(shí),我將wa

2、rming up 和reading兩部分有效整合。首先從對(duì)同一事物的不同表達(dá)來展現(xiàn)英英和美英的差異,讓學(xué)生們有一個(gè)粗淺的印象。在接下來的閱讀中讓學(xué)生帶著好奇去了解這條通向現(xiàn)代英語的道路。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)Knowledge Objectives:1. To learn about differences between American & British English;2. Ss will be able to know the development of English and feel the role that culture plays in the change o

3、f language.3. Ss will be able to know how to get the key sentence of a paragraph.Ability Objective:To develop the Ss speaking, reading, listening .Emotion Objectives:To have the correct emotion and purpose of learning English.三、教學(xué)過程Step1 Lead-in (Start with a free chat with Ss about learning En

4、glish.)Several questions :1How many years have you learnt English?2 But do you know there is more than one kind of English?. T: Well, as we know, we call them American English and British English. There is more than one kind of English .They are different from one another in some ways. So we have wo

5、rld Englishes. I need you to give me another example, such as fall autumn From these we can see there are differences between British and American English.But why do people learn English or speak English?( to use for business     to use in school to travel abroad  

6、     to read English booksto write to pen friends   to listen to English music to pass entrance exams to college) So its important to have a good knowledge of English.Well, before we learn it better, we should know the history of English, the passage “The Road to Modern

7、 English” will tell us. Now please open your books and turn to page 9.【設(shè)計(jì)說明:每一環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì)要做到以生為本,環(huán)環(huán)相扣,突出任務(wù)型特點(diǎn)。比如在導(dǎo)入這一環(huán)節(jié),如何做到導(dǎo)入自然,高一年級(jí)的學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語最少也有六七年時(shí)間,在這個(gè)過程中對(duì)于英語本身的認(rèn)識(shí)非常粗淺,對(duì)于英英美英的了解也只是大概。從詢問大家學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間開始到詢問為什么學(xué)習(xí)英語或者在什么情況下說英語呢,這個(gè)問題答案有很多種,同時(shí)也讓學(xué)生們思索自己多年學(xué)習(xí)英語到底是為了什么,不僅僅是為了應(yīng)對(duì)考試,英語作為交流工具它的價(jià)值是很大的很實(shí)用的,我們應(yīng)當(dāng)好好學(xué)習(xí)而運(yùn)用之。但是英語雖然

8、出自英國(guó),但是目前英語在不同國(guó)家有不同的讀法和詞匯拼法,我們不妨做個(gè)試驗(yàn),通過貝克漢姆和斯瓦辛格對(duì)話來考察一下大家對(duì)于英國(guó)人和美國(guó)人同一實(shí)物不同表達(dá)的了解程度?!縎tep2 Reading1. 13、去文章找出出處,例如Why does English change all the way?,這個(gè)問題很容易就回溯到第三段為什么英語隨著時(shí)間發(fā)生了變化。第二的任務(wù)是找出時(shí)間以及相應(yīng)時(shí)間段發(fā)生的事件,這個(gè)要求學(xué)生以小組為單位,在全文中找到時(shí)間標(biāo)志,再找出發(fā)生的事件,最后小組間檢查查漏補(bǔ)缺,最后一個(gè)問題總結(jié),全文以什么順序?qū)懙? 毫無疑問,時(shí)間順序,給出英文說法?!?
