11、logy and sustainability) A short break for food Make music: Experience the thrill of being part of a drumming/percussion workshop with unusual and challenging percussion instruments and the feeling of being one of a large group creating joy and music together. No need for musical expertise all you n

12、eed is your hands, your laughter and a willingness to have a go! you will have met up with your invention team a group of people who you connect with from across the participants who will work with you during the week to invent A short break See what it means to speed connect: To find out core detai

13、ls about someone and make connections that will result in you being a member of an invention team 4-6 people who will work together. Meet others from your local area, your country or further away and form a team whose goal is to get to know each other well. Challenge your skills of friendship and co

Find others who are like you!Day 2 (30 July Friday) Learning about inventing: You will rotate through 4 workshops that prepare you for work: creative thinking, the steps to invention, recording the process and critiquing an invention Lunch Meet an inventor (or two): You will be able to

15、hear what it takes to invent something that solves a problem and ask questions about the process and the dilemmas A short session on the categories of inventions Some way-out thinking and creativity: Rube Goldberg was an inventor with imagination and a love of fantasy. Learn about his inventions and

16、 then try out your own skill at inventing a la Rube. Discover the problems he tried to solve with invention and solve your own problems A short time for you to meet with your team and share insights and ideas from the dayDay 3 (31 July Saturday) Spend the day working with your team to design an inve

17、ntion Over the day you will have 2 stop points: One when you meet with another team and critique their invention sharing ideas and thoughts about your inventions.
