1、外研版英語九（上）Module 2模塊語法詳解與訓(xùn)練模塊語法詳解狀語從句（1）：時(shí)間狀語從句一、when, while, before, after, as soon as, since, until引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句在復(fù)合句中，如作狀語的是一個(gè)從句，該從句被稱為狀語從句。狀語從句包括：時(shí)間狀語從句、地點(diǎn)狀語從句、原因狀語從句、條件狀語從句、目的狀語從句、結(jié)果狀語從句、讓步狀語從句、比較狀語從句和方式狀語從句九種。本模塊主要學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間狀語從句。用從句來表達(dá)一件事情或一個(gè)行為發(fā)生的時(shí)間，這個(gè)從句就叫做時(shí)間狀語從句。時(shí)間狀語從句常用引導(dǎo)詞有when, while, before, after, as

2、 soon as, since, until等。1. when引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句。when意為“當(dāng)時(shí)”，既可指時(shí)間點(diǎn)，也可指時(shí)間段；從句的謂語動(dòng)詞可以是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞，也可以是瞬間性動(dòng)詞；when從句的動(dòng)作可與主句的動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生，也可先于主句的動(dòng)作；并且when有時(shí)意為“就在那時(shí)”。如：When I got home, he was watching TV. 當(dāng)我到家的時(shí)候，他正在看電視。I was about to go out when the telephone rang. 我剛要出門，就在那時(shí)電話鈴響了。 2. while引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句。while只能指時(shí)間段，而不能指時(shí)間點(diǎn)；從句的動(dòng)

3、作或與主句的動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生，或主句的動(dòng)作是在從句動(dòng)作的過程中發(fā)生的；從句中的動(dòng)詞必須是表示延續(xù)性動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)的動(dòng)詞。如：While he was waiting for a bus, he was reading a newspaper. 他一邊等車一般看報(bào)。He visited a lot of places while he was traveling. 他在旅途中參觀了許多地方。 when和while 的區(qū)別：when與while 都意為“當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)候”。when 引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句，謂語動(dòng)詞既可以是持續(xù)性的，也可以是終止性的；而while引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句，謂語動(dòng)詞只能是持續(xù)性的，并且常用進(jìn)行

4、時(shí)態(tài)。試比較：When he woke up, it was eight oclock. While he woke up, it was eight oclock. × When I was waiting for a bus, I met her. While I was waiting for a bus, I met her. 3. before/after引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句。before意為“在之前/之后”，表示主句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生在從句之前/之后，如果主句是一般將來時(shí)時(shí)，從句只能用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài)。如：I wont tell you th e truth before he com

5、es back. 他回來之前我是不會(huì)告訴你事實(shí)的。After she finished the work, she went to have sup per. 她完成工作后去吃晚飯了。4. as soon as引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句。as soon as意為“一就”，表示從句的動(dòng)作一發(fā)生主句的動(dòng)作就發(fā)生，如果主句是將來時(shí)，從句只能用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。如：I will call you as soon as I arrive home. 我一到家就給你打電話。Mother became unhappy as soon as I mentioned his name.我一提到他的名字，母親就變得很不開心。5

6、. since引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句。since可引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語從句，意為“自從的時(shí)候起；從此；從以來；以后”等。若since引導(dǎo)的狀語從句的謂語動(dòng)詞是終止性動(dòng)詞(如go, come, leave, start, begin等)的過去時(shí), 則從句表示的時(shí)間是“從該動(dòng)作開始的那一時(shí)刻起”。這是最常見的一種用法。如：He has studied very hard since he came to our school. 自從來到我們學(xué)校，他學(xué)習(xí)就非常努力。若since引導(dǎo)的狀語從句的謂語動(dòng)詞是持續(xù)性動(dòng)詞或表示狀態(tài)的靜態(tài)動(dòng)詞(如live, stay, study, learn, smoke, be等)的

7、過去時(shí)，則從句表示的時(shí)間是“從該動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)的完成或結(jié)束時(shí)算起”。如：I havent h eard from him since he lived here. 從他不住這兒起， 我一直沒有收到他的信。I havent eaten snakes since I was a student at school.=I havent eaten snakes since I left school. 自從我畢業(yè)后就一直沒吃過蛇。6. until (till)引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語從句。until/till意為“直到”，兩者通?？梢曰Q；主句是肯定句時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞常與延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞連用，意為“到為止”；主句是否定句時(shí)

8、，謂語動(dòng)詞常與瞬間動(dòng)詞連用，意為“直到才”，這時(shí)till 和until可與before替換；如果主句是一般將來時(shí)時(shí)，從句只能用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài)。如：Ill stay here until/till you come back. 我會(huì)待在這里，直到你回來。He didnt go home until/till he finished his homework. 他直到做完作業(yè)才回家。二、時(shí)間狀語從句時(shí)態(tài)的呼應(yīng)和從句的位置1. 時(shí)態(tài)的呼應(yīng)：一般來講，復(fù)合句都要遵循主、從句時(shí)態(tài)呼應(yīng)規(guī)律。即主句用現(xiàn)在時(shí)，從句也用現(xiàn)在時(shí)；主句用過去時(shí)，從句也要用過去的某種時(shí)態(tài)。2. 主從句的位置：通常從句可位于主句之前，也
