1、ATraining Program for freshmenIn JXUFEFormulated by: Team four (Seven win)IntroductionTraining consists of an organizations planned efforts to help employees learn job-related competencies (i.e. knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors), with the goal of applying these on the job. Most of the tim

2、e, were talking about all kinds of training programs for businesses, rather than those for non-profit organizations such as schools and governments. Therefore, this paper focuses on making a training program for a university. JXUFE is a very famous university in Jiangxi Province, an organization tha

3、t usually puts great emphasis on training its freshmen. The problem rises that the university lacks a comprehensive and scientific training program, so our work in figuring out an effective training program for freshmen in JXUFE is necessary. In this paper, we attempted to formulate a training progr

Assess needs for training An analysis to effectively identify

5、 training needs of students so that training & development is planned, carried out to enable individual students to develop to their full potential and contribute to the success of the organization.(1) Organization Analysis: Considering organizations strategy, resources, and management support.江

6、西財經(jīng)大學秉承 “信、敏、廉、毅”的校訓和“敬業(yè)樂群、臻于至善”的大學精神,形成了培養(yǎng)具有“信敏廉毅”素質(zhì)的創(chuàng)業(yè)型人才的辦學特色,因此學校就有需要對大學新生進行培訓,提高其各方面的素質(zhì),讓新生更快地成為合格的江財人。另外,學校多年來一直致力于對新生生活、學習等方面進行較為全面的培訓,積累了豐富的培訓經(jīng)驗;隨著學校培訓師資質(zhì)量的提高、培訓硬件設施的不斷改善,為各類針對新生的培訓提供了有利的保障。(2) Person Analysis: Determining who needs training and if students are ready for training.其次,要對學生個人進行

7、分析,將學生現(xiàn)有的水平與預期未來對學生技能的要求進行比照,看兩者之間是否存在差距。當能力不能滿足需要時,就要進行培訓。大部分新生對大學生活乃至未來的理想目標都是模糊的,引導新生進行正確的大學學業(yè)和職業(yè)生涯規(guī)劃,樹立明確的學習目標和遠大的人生理想就顯得很有必要了。結(jié)合不同人的特定需要,可以對新生的心理健康、安全意識、目標和理想、專業(yè)技能等進行培訓,可以使新生們能更快的適應大學的生活。同時,經(jīng)歷了高考之后的大多數(shù)新生對大學生活充滿期待與向往,樂于接受新鮮事物,可塑性較強。(3)Task Analysis: What kind of knowledge and skills should stude

8、nts acquire in order to make outstanding achievements?最后,要進行工作分析,分析學生取得理想的成績所必須掌握的知識和技能。入學新生對自身專業(yè)了解甚少,這就有必要對新生們培訓自身專業(yè)的相關知識以及所需掌握的其他技能,幫助新生們更早的制定相應的目標,進而更加容易的達到學校的培養(yǎng)目標。2. Plan training program(1)Training GoalsThe training program involves several departments, ranging from a tiny class to the whole un

9、iversity. Therefore, all the departments have to make an accurate goal. 11、)JXUFE Hospital為新生身體健康提供有益指導(開展急救常識、健康養(yǎng)生方面的培訓)Schools1.配合學校其他部門統(tǒng)籌安排新生各類培訓2.針對新生開展校園文化、專業(yè)思想與學習方法等培訓,使學生認同學校文化,踐行“信敏廉毅”校訓,掌握科學的學習方法;Classes積極響應院系安排,及時將各類培訓通知傳達下去,并妥善安排Headmasters & monitors積極有序組織本班同學參加相應培訓Trainees積極參與,認真學習,盡早錘煉各方面素質(zhì)能力。Figure 2 Goals made by different departments(2) Training conten

12、t Military training 軍事訓練由南昌陸軍學院的教官對新生進行各項基本軍事技能的訓練:包括匕首操、走正步、射擊戰(zhàn)術(shù)等。 Campus culture 校園文化培訓首先是了解校史校情,學習學校規(guī)章制度和學生守則;領會并踐行學校校訓精神、培養(yǎng)理念。 Education for mental health 心理健康教育培訓舉辦心理健康講座,針對新生進行心理測試,對新生提供定期心理咨詢和反饋。 Safety and health 安全健康教育培訓舉辦安全教育講座,安全知識競賽,急救知識培訓和消防演習等。 Education for honesty 誠信教育培訓 以講座、征文等形式舉辦誠

13、信考試周或誠信考試月的系列活動。 Professional thinking and learning methods 專業(yè)思想與學習方法培訓 開展專業(yè)學習方法的系列培訓講座,高年級師兄師姐的經(jīng)驗傳授和相關問題的解答。 Career planning 職業(yè)生涯規(guī)劃培訓 職業(yè)生涯規(guī)劃講座、職業(yè)能力測試。(3) Selection of Trainees: All freshmen enrolled by JXUFE in September, 2013.(4)Training Methods There are a lot of training methods widely used by d

14、ifferent organizations. Examples are lectures, role playing and simulation, audiovisual methods, programmed learning, laboratory training, simulations, behavior modeling, team training, action learning. In terms of the training program for freshmen in JXUFE, we mainly considered the methods exhibite

15、d in Table 1.(5)TrainersSelection of trainers is determined by training content and training needs. Different training content and training needs require different trainers. And the source of trainers comes from internal resources and external resources. In relation to JXUFE, internal resources domi

16、nate the training resources, as exhibited in Table 1. 27、yout.4. Evaluate results of trainingThis is the last stage of training program. In this stage, we are going to evalute the overall implementation of the training program. 28、4 levels of evaluation for training programs(1)Level I: ReactionHow did the student feel and what did they think about the training? Distribute an evaluation or feedback form. This is often called a “smilesheet” and can be administered in either paper format or online format. This type of evaluation

29、 is usually inexpensive and used by most organizations. Be sure to distribute evaluations immediately after training ends. You can include questions to evaluate the instructor, material covered, training materials and audio visual equipment. 反饋很重要。在培訓結(jié)束后及時地以問卷(在線或紙質(zhì))或訪談的方式了解新生培訓后的感受與體會,并收集其對改進培訓的建議與

30、意見,包括對培訓者、培訓資料、培訓設備等各方面。另外還可在培訓結(jié)束后,組織新生撰寫心得體會,了解其對培訓的整體感受與評價。所有的這些信息都有助于完善下次培訓以及作為評價新生培訓效果的依據(jù)。(2)Level II: LearningHow much did the student learn? To assess the amount of learning, consider using pre-tests and post-tests. The tests attempt to determine how students have advanced with regards to skil

31、ls, knowledge and attitude. 在進行各項培訓前,都要先了解新生關于培訓內(nèi)容已有的認識與水平,然后在培訓后將其主要的情況與培訓前進行對比,比如可以觀察法與問卷調(diào)查法測試職業(yè)生涯規(guī)劃培訓是否使受訓者由原來的迷茫到目標明確,通過培訓者按平時表現(xiàn)進行的打分(如軍訓)也可表現(xiàn)出受訓者培訓后與培訓前的變化。(3)Level III: BehaviorWhat is the extent of behavior and capability improvement and implementation/application? To determine the extent of

32、behavior and capability improvement, consider observing learners for an extended period of time after training is completed. This can be measured via post training interviews, monitoring progress and meeting with headmasters of the learners to determine if the training has allowed the learner to exc

33、el in his/her study. 受訓者通過培訓提升程度如何?這可以在培訓之后通過集中性地對部分同學進行抽樣觀察,比如在學習方法培訓之后,到教室觀察是否大多數(shù)學生都能認真聽課,輕松學習。當然這通過課間直接訪談更能夠了解新生學習現(xiàn)狀:是否真正掌握合理的學習方法,學習中是否又遇到了新的問題與困難?另外,還可以與新生班主任進行交流,了解相應情況。比如,在職業(yè)生涯規(guī)劃培訓后,可向班主任了解其班上的同學是否逐步適應了大學生活,并且制定了比較明確的目標。(4)Level IV: ResultsWhat impact on the organization did the training have as a result of the l
