1、Unit 6 Now And ThenLesson 17 Interesting Animals教材分析本課的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)分為兩課時(shí)。第一課時(shí)在復(fù)習(xí)、學(xué)習(xí)身體部位名稱(多為二級(jí)詞匯,主要為復(fù)習(xí))的基礎(chǔ)上,側(cè)重對(duì)閱讀文本的理解,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)閱讀獲取動(dòng)物體貌的基本信息, 獲取并整理這兩種動(dòng)物的特殊性。在閱讀活動(dòng)中,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取關(guān)鍵信息和總結(jié)信息的閱讀策略,體驗(yàn)連詞 and、or在簡(jiǎn)單句中,以及 and、so、but在并列復(fù)合句中的用法,通過(guò)不 斷內(nèi)化信息和語(yǔ)言,最后進(jìn)行基于閱讀文本信息的語(yǔ)言輸出活動(dòng)。第二課時(shí)在復(fù)習(xí)課文內(nèi)容和語(yǔ)言的基礎(chǔ)上,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生歸納總結(jié)本課的語(yǔ)法一一簡(jiǎn)單句和并列復(fù)合句,關(guān)注他們的基本

2、結(jié)構(gòu),理解 and、or、but、so的表意功能和語(yǔ)用特征,在不同語(yǔ) 境下進(jìn)行多層次的練習(xí)。 最后運(yùn)用本課所學(xué)詞匯及語(yǔ)法功能,結(jié)合本課話題,描述一個(gè)自己喜歡的動(dòng)物。教學(xué)目標(biāo)【知識(shí)與能力目標(biāo)】1. Key vocabulary2. Key structures:【過(guò)程與方法目標(biāo)】1準(zhǔn)確說(shuō)出身體部位的名稱;2.通過(guò)閱讀獲取并整理有關(guān)企鵝和長(zhǎng)頸鹿的體貌特點(diǎn)及生活特點(diǎn)的信息【情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo)】介紹企鵝或長(zhǎng)頸鹿的體貌特征和生活特點(diǎn)?!窘虒W(xué)重點(diǎn)】1 .提通辨認(rèn)并準(zhǔn)確說(shuō)出自己喜歡動(dòng)物的名稱;2 .通過(guò)聽(tīng)獲取四位小朋友喜歡的動(dòng)物及原因等細(xì)節(jié)信息教教學(xué)難點(diǎn)】和同伴討論彼此喜歡的動(dòng)物及原因。課前準(zhǔn)備Tape r

Pre-reading1. Play the recording of the dialogue and ask the students to read aloud with the speaker.2.

5、Ss look at the table, and guess which animal the children may choose.3. Ss can write down their own guesses in the table.Step 4. Pre-readingT asks Ss to try to guess the answers to the following questions: Are penguins birdor fish? Penguins swim 15 / 25 / 35 miles an hour. Do giraffes spread their f

6、ront legs to drink water? Can giraffes run for a long time? ? T helps Ss learn the word“ spread ”.Step 5. Reading.1. Ss read the text quickly and find the answers for the four questions. ? T callsback the answers from the class. T discusses with Ss about their understanding ofthe difficult sentence:

7、They have to spread their front legs wide and bend theirnecks, so their heads can reach the ground.2. Ss read the text carefully, and find the information about the body parts ofthe two animals to complete the table. (Ex. 2) T checks answers in class. Ss describe penguins and giraffes with the help

8、of the table in pairs.3. Ss discuss the structure of the text. T helps Ss understand that the texts arein two parts: appearance and interesting features. Ss read the second part ofpenguins carefully. T works with the Ss to summarise the features of penguins. Sswork in pairs, read the second part of giraffes and summarise the features of giraffes.T checks answers in class.Step 6 Group talk:Ss complete the sentences with and, or, but, and so.
