11、生，其中 if 是“假如的意思。e.g. If it rains, we will stay at home. 假如下雨我們就待在家里。2 用法：   1條件狀語(yǔ)從句通常由連詞if引導(dǎo)，意為“假如、假設(shè)，主句不能用be going to表示將來(lái)，而應(yīng)該用shall，will。e.g. If you leave now, you will never regret it.  假如你如今分開，你永遠(yuǎn)都不會(huì)懊悔。2if “

12、假如，引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句，主句用一般將來(lái)時(shí)，從句那么用一般如今時(shí)。e.g. If it rains tomorrow,  I shant climb the hills.假如明天下雨，我就不爬山了。3主句是祈使句或含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞，從句也用一般如今時(shí)。如： Please call me if he comes next Sunday. 假如他下周日過(guò)來(lái)請(qǐng)打 給我。注意 賓語(yǔ)從句中的if與條件狀語(yǔ)從句if的區(qū)別。賓語(yǔ)從句中的if“是否

13、相當(dāng)于 whether，引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句，時(shí)態(tài)需根據(jù)語(yǔ)境確定。假如主句用一般如今時(shí)，從句可以根據(jù)詳細(xì)情況選用時(shí)態(tài)，假如主句用一般過(guò)去時(shí)，從句必須用過(guò)去式的某種形式。Unless 條件句unless引導(dǎo)的條件句，表示強(qiáng)烈的否認(rèn)。翻譯為“除非“非不可。e.g. You will fail unless you work harder . 你不努力就會(huì)失敗的。=You will fail if you do not work harder.注意 unless 從句里的謂語(yǔ)只能是肯定式
