18、ystem work principle: Briefly described, the system functions as follows:The AdBlue is stored in a chassis mounted tank. The tank supplies the solution to a Dosing Unit (DU) which is also chassis mounted. The DU is electronically controlled by the Uosing control unit(DCU)which relates to the engine

19、control module (ECM). The DU uses compressed air supplied from the vehicle system to atomize the AdBlue and by means of a very accurate pumping and metering system, supplies a spray nozzle in the engines exhaust system. The amount of AdBlue injected into the exhaust is controlled by the DCU and matc

20、hed to the NOx output of the engine at any given speed and load condition. Water evaporates quickly and the urea turns into ammonia when in contact with hot exhaust gases. The ammonia reacts with NOx over the catalyst convertor and the resultant tailpipe emission from this process is harmless nitrog
