41、 express his approval.Our manager nodded approval.我在初學英語時，也經(jīng)常犯這樣的錯誤，我的解決方法是：在翻譯一個句子之后，把這個句子的主要動詞找出來，如果是很常用、很熟悉的動詞，比如come、go、have、take等，那就算了，如果是不常用、不熟悉的動詞，比如nod，我就查一下英漢詞典，看看nod在詞典例句中的用法，與我自己的用法是否一致，如果一致，說明我的用法是正確的，如果不一致，我就仿照詞典例句的用法，將我的句子改正過來。這種方法，雖然當時要花費一點時間，但對今后正確使用英語，是有很大幫助的。還有一個朋友，將“新郎新娘給他們的父母鞠躬”這

42、句話翻譯為下面第一句。這句譯文，如果不仔細琢磨，是看不出毛病的，它的毛病就是：在漢語中，我們習慣先說新郎，后說新娘，但在英語中，順序正好相反，應當先說bride，后說bridegroom，因此第一句應當改寫為第二句。按照漢語順序排列英語單詞，是另外一種常見的“中國味”，類似的情況還有很多，比如“東西、南北、老少、新舊”等，在英語中應當改成“西東、北南、少老、舊新”等。Bridegroom and bride bowed to their parents.Bride and bridegroom bowed to their parents.對于這種小毛病，我沒有什么特別好的解決方法，我看只有多
