1、Unit 8 Detective stories ( Reading I )【學習目標】 1、能用正確的語音、語調無障礙地朗讀課文; 2、能根據(jù)問題提示理解文章大意; 3、了解偵探類故事的基本結構,掌握這類文章的閱讀方法。【學習過程】(一)背景知識:偵探小說是懸疑小說的一種,主要特點是偵探破案,通常是謀殺案。偵探詢問懷疑對象,尋找線索,查清誰是殺人兇手。一般來說,偵探調查的依據(jù)是動機、時機和犯罪手段。偵探排除那些不符合標準的懷疑對象,得出最終的結論。為了增加偵探的破案難度和讀者的興趣,作者要偵探的破案過程復雜化,如:誤導的線索和人數(shù)眾多的嫌疑犯(他們中間有些人說謊,有些人則說真話)。只有等到最

2、后,偵探才找到兇手,并解釋破案的過程。英語小說中的一些著名偵探包括夏洛克福爾摩斯Sherlock Holmes(柯南道爾Conan Doyle創(chuàng)作)、瑪波小姐Miss Marple和波羅Polo(阿加莎克里斯蒂Agatha Christie創(chuàng)作)、布朗老人(切斯特頓Chesterton創(chuàng)作)等。(二)課前準備:試著朗讀全文:A、劃出本課新單詞,根據(jù)音標和讀音規(guī)則多讀幾遍,在不會讀的生詞下作標記“”;B、根據(jù)錄音磁帶多跟讀幾遍,劃出讀不通的的句子。再次仔細閱讀課文,試著完成書中P110 B1, B2部分。通過預習你有什么不懂之處?_(三)課堂活動:預習檢查:a. 小組交流討論課前準備情況;b.
