It will be difficult for us to understand what the teacher means. As a result, we will focus too much on teachers words rather than their intended meaning.

As its known to all, Chinese grammars and Englishs are for the most part different. Sometimes the way English is spoken is even opposite to th

15、at of Chinese. Thats where it must be explained in our mother language. Every culture has its own way to express one certain thing. Only when we fully understand how English is spoken in our own way can we use it skillfully. The “English only” class is better for students to improve their speaking a

16、nd listening abilities. But it is not without its problems. It is always not easy to follow. We cant use the English which we only half-understand. So I prefer the “both English and Chinese” classes.(26) I prefer my English classes to be taught in both English and Chinese; It is beyond a shadow of d

17、oubt that it is good for us to understand better. As different people have different thoughts, there is also difference among students of English learning. The English atmosphere in class is not thick. Above all, in my opinion, Id like to be taught in both English and Chinese.
