以-ed結(jié)尾的形容詞都是在修飾人，以-ing結(jié)尾的形容

詞修飾物體或動(dòng)物。

兩句口訣：

以ing結(jié)尾的形容詞，表示它所修飾的名詞能使他人

他物處于一種狀態(tài)，

以ed結(jié)尾的形容詞，表示它所修飾的名詞本身處于一

種狀態(tài)。

觀察下例

總結(jié)：-ed還是-ing,不取決于所修飾的詞語是人還是

物，而是如下口訣

v-ing這樣的形容詞，表示它所修飾的名詞能使他人他

物處于一種狀態(tài)；

v-ed這樣的形容詞，表示它所修飾的名詞本身處以一

種狀態(tài)。

這種寫法為更加高深的語法準(zhǔn)備。上述形容詞都是成

對(duì)出現(xiàn)，均由動(dòng)詞變化而來

如frighten一嚇人：Frightening/frightened

Thedogisfrightening.狗很嚇人（樣子兇狠,令人害

怕。一動(dòng)作對(duì)外）
