從教材的整合來說,本部分既有形容詞用法的延續(xù),又為后面形容詞級的學習打下基礎,具有承上啟下的作用;從本單元來說,它既是本單元的基本語言知識,又為本單元知識的擴展和綜合語言的運用奠定堅實的基礎。因此,上好這一課,既可以讓知識學習具有一定的延續(xù)性,又為后面的教學做好鋪墊。

1)Languagegoal知識目標讓學生掌握本課的詞匯運用。
2)Abilitygoal能力目標讓學生學會用英語與他人談論人的個性特征和使用形容詞進行比較的話題,以及進一步提高學生的英語語言表達能力;

二、TeachingMethods教學方法:
根據(jù)英語“課標”的要求,課程要從學生的學習興趣、生活經驗和認知水平出發(fā),發(fā)展學生的綜合語言運用能力,提高跨文化意識和形成自主學習能力。因此,我將在教學中采用多媒體輔助教學、任務型教學模式,結合聽說法、競賽法以循序漸進的方式來進行教學。
采用聽說法和多媒體輔助教學來導入和呈現(xiàn)本節(jié)的基本詞匯和句型,目的在于用師生互動的方式,共同觀察圖片,激活學生對所學知識的興趣,使學生對新知識的識記經過一個由形象思維到抽象思維的轉化過程,因此記憶效果更好。
采用任務型教學模式,在活動中以競賽法來突出重點,培養(yǎng)學生綜合語言運用能力,這樣不僅激活學生的主體意識,而且激活了英語語言,使學生的自信感逐步增強,從而體驗到成功的喜悅。
三、LearningMethods學法:
教法的選擇固然重要,但學法也是必不可少的,我們都知道,學生的學習過程并不是孤立于課堂教學之中,應遵循學生的身心發(fā)展規(guī)律和學習規(guī)律,教師在教學的過程中要倡導學生體驗、實踐、參與、合作與交流的學習方式。瑞士心理學家讓?皮亞杰的“建構主義理論”指出:學習是獲取知識的過程,但知識不是通過教師傳授得到的,而是學習者在一定的情景下,借助他人(包括教師和學習伙伴)的幫助,利用必要的學習資料,通過建構的方式而獲得的。結合我校的學情,在本節(jié)教學中我主要采用歸納法和小組合作學習的方法。使用歸納法讓學生歸納總結形容詞比較級的變化規(guī)則;使用小組合作學習的方法,讓學生參與競賽和故事表演,使學生用心去體驗集體的力量,去感悟合作的魅力,在活動中體驗合作成功的快樂。
四、TeachingSteps教學程序:
ActivityI活動一:Leadingin激趣導入
在本活動中通過聽說法配合多媒體輔助教學導入新課,用多媒體顯示圖畫,讓學生認識并掌握本課所要學的基本詞匯。利用兩個人物之間的不同,引出比較級的句子。讓學生認識比較級的基本句型。本環(huán)節(jié)以學生原有的知識為切入點,對比兩者之間的不同,不知不覺地將學生引入新課,達到潤物無聲之效果。
ActivityII活動二:Warmingup單詞熱身練習
要想讓學生正確地使用比較級,首先應掌握形容詞比較級的變化規(guī)則。因此,我給出一系列形容詞及其比較級形式,讓學生通過仔細觀察并得出形容詞比較級的變化規(guī)則,然后朗讀記憶。在這一環(huán)節(jié),我使用了教學的歸納法,意在培養(yǎng)學生的自主探究能力、觀察能力和歸納能力。
ActivityIII活動三:Comparing句子熱身練習
在學生掌握了比較級的變化規(guī)則后,便可以開始進行句子的熱身練習。要求學生倆人一組用比較級來表達自己與同伴之間的差異,正確地認識自我。此項活動從貼近學生的學習、生活入手,記憶深刻,使學生很容易掌握重點和難點,準確描述人物的個性特征。
ActivityIV活動四:Aguessinggame“猜謎”游戲
——Whoishe/she他/她是誰
我認為要充分挖掘教材的內涵,利用游戲來培養(yǎng)學生的聽力能力和積極參與教學的主動性,要求一位學生描述班里的另一位學生,并和自己作比較,其他學生猜所描述的人是誰,這樣可以給學生更多的發(fā)言機會來表達自己的思想。不僅反饋于上一環(huán)節(jié)的活動,也突出了本節(jié)的重點。學生在游戲中逐漸學會了用比較級自如表達,這也是突破難點的一個過程。
ActivityV活動五:Competition小組競賽
本活動采用任務型教學模式及小組自由合作學習的方式,這個環(huán)節(jié)的步驟是:把全班分為四個小組,每組抽取一個號碼,在規(guī)定的時間內使用比較級對所抽取的圖畫進行描述,說出句子最多的小組獲勝。此項活動可以培養(yǎng)學生的合作精神和競爭意識,同時可以訓練學生快速思維的能力。
ActivityVI活動六:Acting知識的拓展
此環(huán)節(jié)是通過任務型教學途徑,分小組用所給的圖畫續(xù)編并表演故事。然后評出小組。這項活動要求學生積極與他人合作,共同完成學習任務,進一步培養(yǎng)了學生運用所學的知識鍛煉口語表達能力、和邏輯思維能力。
此項活動后的小結也是本課的總結:“Fromthisstoryweknow,whenwearebetterthanothers.Don’tlaughatothers.Whensomeoneisbetterthanyou,don’tbefrustrated.Nooneisperfect.Weshouldlearnfromeachotherandhelpeachother.”這個故事告訴我們一個道理:當你比別人強的時候,不要嘲笑別人;當你在某些方面不如別人時,不要自卑。沒有人是完美的。在生活和學習中,我們應該相互幫助、相互學習。
ActivityVII活動七:Exercises鞏固訓練
用本節(jié)課學過的內容進行當堂訓練、當堂鞏固,做到“堂堂清”。
五、Homework作業(yè):
《英語課程標準》建議教師把“任務型”教學活動延伸到課堂之外的學習和生活之中。因此,我在家庭作業(yè)布置中,分常規(guī)性作業(yè)和探究性作業(yè)兩類:
