(動(dòng)詞ing形式作定語、表語)Learningobjectives1.Tomastertheusagesof-ingformsservingastheAttributiveandthePredicative.2.Touse-ingformsproperlyincommunicationandwriting.Step1.Lead-in我們常說的現(xiàn)在分詞和動(dòng)名詞是怎么回事?現(xiàn)在分詞和動(dòng)名詞都是由動(dòng)詞+-ing形式構(gòu)成,因此統(tǒng)稱為動(dòng)詞的-ing形式。觀察下面句子并分析畫線部分在句中所作的成分1.Playingwithfireisdangerous,butpartlyheisashowman.

The–ingformastheAttributive(動(dòng)詞ing用作定語)1.說明被修飾詞的性質(zhì)、特征或用途。areadingroom

2.與被修飾詞的詞為主動(dòng)關(guān)系且表示正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作.Therewereabout200childrenstudyingintheartschool.

The–ingformasthePredicative(現(xiàn)在分詞用作表語)1.動(dòng)名詞(短語)作表語,表示抽象的或習(xí)慣性的動(dòng)作,用來說明主語的內(nèi)容,與主語通常是同一概念,表語和主語常可互換位置。Myfavouritesportisplayingbasketball.=Playingbasketballismyfavouritesport.2.表示主語具有的特征、性質(zhì)和狀態(tài)(動(dòng)詞ing相當(dāng)一個(gè)形容詞)
