二、課程內容:

1.課程背景:

1)高中人教版英語教材(現在學生用課本)有著豐富而鮮活的語言素材,

是一套很理想的教材,但對于河口一中來自區(qū)縣的優(yōu)秀生群體來說,內容

還顯得不足,學生學力有余。英語文化豐富且博大精深,從莎士比亞英語

到如今網絡英語,英語語言隨著人們生活的變化、時代的進步而不斷發(fā)展,

如果不能充分地利用這種時代英語資源,充分開發(fā)學生潛力,既是浪費資

源,也是錯失教育良機。

2)新課程改革提倡國家、地方、學校三級課程,鼓勵教師進行校本教研,

提高使用教材和開發(fā)教材的能力。

2.課程目標:

“英語美文閱讀與欣賞”課程是國家課程的校本化,旨在根據學生英語學習

水平的實際情況補充適量、相當的閱讀素材,彌補牛津英語教材的不足,

擴大學生的閱讀量和閱讀視野,豐富學生的詞匯,使得學生更廣泛地了解

英語國家的文化,在語言學習的同時,陶冶情操,提高文學素養(yǎng)和人文素

養(yǎng)。

3.課程內容與任務

課程內容主要涉及六個方面,即文學作品中的神話、童話及傳說,名人故

事或生平介紹,不同國家、地區(qū)的社會習俗、風土人情,對于人生的看法、

態(tài)度及理想,國家、地區(qū)歷史及文化差異,科學與經濟發(fā)展。

主要任務是通過篇章閱讀,獲取信息,了解相關知識,增強文化意識;掌握

不同題材文章的閱讀技巧,形成相應的閱讀策略;掌握關鍵詞、短語和句型,

擴大詞匯量,重點發(fā)展學生閱讀和寫作能力。

這首歌的故事背景取材自《格林童話》里的《哈米倫的吹笛人一二八四年,哈米倫市鼠患嚴重,市民公開懸賞,

只要有人能除去鼠患,必有重賞。不久,來了一位吹笛人,他吹起夢幻般的音樂,全城的老鼠仿佛被催眠一般,隨著笛

聲通通跳進了河里,鼠患于是宣告解除。

沒想到事過之后,哈米倫市民卻不愿信守承諾,拒絕付錢給吹笛人。吹笛人一氣之下,再度吹起有魔力的笛音,這回

跟在他身后起舞的,卻是全城所有的小孩,市民眼睜睜看著孩子跟著吹笛人走出城外,從此一去不返,音訊全無,但后

悔也來不及了。

hadalwayssolvedtheratproblemintheusualway-bykillingthem.Allatonce,

however,theratsbegantomultiply.

Intheend,ablackseaofratsswarmedoverthewholetown.First,they

attackedthebarnsandstorehousesthen,forlackofanythingbetter,theygnawed

(啃)thewood,clothoranythingatall.Theonethingtheydidn'teatwasmetal.

Theterrifiedcitizensflockedtopleadwiththetowncouncilors(委員會)tofree

themfromtheplagueofrats(鼠疫).Butthecouncilhad,foralongtime,been

sittingintheMayor'sroom,tryingtothinkofaplan.

Thesunwasstillbelowthehorizon,whenthesoundofapipewaftedthrough
