had4th-and5th-gradestudentsfrom15schoolstakepartinthisstudy.Theywentonthreeculturalfieldtripsduringthe
schoolyear,toanartmuseum,alivetheaterperformance,andaclassicalconcert.Thentheresearcherslookedattheir
schoolyearcomparedtostudentswhodidnottakepartandthisiswheretheysawthedifference.
