中國入境旅游碳足跡時空特征與演化研究(英文StudyontheTemporalandSpatialCharacteristicsandEvolutionofChina'sInboundTourismCarbonFootprintWiththerapiddevelopmentofChina'sinboundtourismindustry,thecarbonfootprintoftourismactivitieshasbecomeanincreasinglysignificantissue.ThispaperaimstoexplorethetemporalandspatialcharacteristicsandevolutionofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprint.BasedonthecommonlyusedcarbonfootprintcalculationmethodandthestatisticaldatarelatedtoinboundtourisminChinafrom2005to2019,thispaperanalyzesthetemporalandspatialdistribution,evolutiontrend,andinfluencingfactorsofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprint.TheresultsshowthatthecarbonfootprintofChina'sinboundtourismhasincreasedsignificantlyfrom2005to2019,andthetemporalandspatialdistributionandevolutiontrendarecloselyrelatedtothechangesininboundtouristvolume,traveldistance,andfuelconsumption.ThestudyprovidesatheoreticalbasisandpracticalguidanceforthesustainabledevelopmentofChina'sinboundtourismKeywords:China;inboundtourism;carbonfootprint;temporalandspatialcharacteristics;evolutionInthepastfewdecades,China'sinboundtourismindustryhasshownsteadygrowthandbecomeanimportantdrivingforceforChina'seconomicandsocialdevelopment.However,therapidgrowthoftourismactivitieshasalsocausedincreasinglyseriousenvironmentalproblems,especiallygreenhousegasemissionsthatcontributetoglobalwarming.Thecarbonfootprintoftourismactivitiesmainlyreferstotheamountofcarbondioxideandothergreenhousegasesemittedbytourismactivitiesduringtourists'travel,accommodation,andactivities.Asamajordestinationcountryforinboundtourism,China'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprinthasattractedgreatattentionfromtheinternationalcommunity.Therefore,itisnecessarytostudythetemporalandspatialcharacteristicsandevolutionofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprint,whichcanprovidevaluableinformationfortheformulationoftargetedpoliciesandmeasurestoreduceemissionsandpromotesustainabledevelopmentofthetourismindustry.Thisstudyusedthecarbonfootprintcalculationmethod,whichconsistsofthreemajorcomponents:transportation,accommodation,andactivities.Thecalculationformulaforeachcomponentisasfollows:Transportemissions=(touristvolume×distancetraveledemissionfactor)/occupancyAccommodationemissions=(touristvolume×nights×emissionfactor)/occupancyrateActivityemissions=(touristvolume×hours×emissionfactoractivitytype)/numberofThedatausedinthisstudyweremainlyderivedfromtheChinaTourismStatisticalYearbookandtheNationalBureauofStatisticsofChina.Thedatacoveredtheperiodfrom2005to2019,andthestudyusedMicrosoftExcelandSPSSsoftwarefordataanalysis.TemporalandspatialdistributionofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprintFrom2005to2019,China'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprintshowedaclearupwardtrend,withanaverageannualgrowthrateof8.53%.Thecarbonfootprintoftransportationandaccommodationshowedarelativelystableandconsistentupwardtrend,whilethecarbonfootprintofactivitiesshowedafluctuatinggrowthtrend.Onaspatiallevel,from2005to2019,thecoastalprovincesandcitiesineasternChinahadthehighestcarbonfootprint,followedbythecentralandwesternprovinces.However,theproportionofcarbonfootprintincentralandwesternprovincesgraduallyincreased,indicatingthattheseprovinceshavebecomeincreasinglyimportanttouristdestinationsandtheircontributiontothecarbonfootprinthasincreasedovertime.EvolutiontrendofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprintFrom2005to2019,themainfactorsaffectingtheevolutionofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprintwerechangesininboundtouristvolume,traveldistance,andfuelconsumption.Therapidgrowthofinboundtouristvolumeandtraveldistancehasledtoasignificantincreaseinthecarbonfootprintoftransportationandaccommodation,whilethedeclineinoccupancyrateshasalsocontributedtotheincreaseincarbonfootprint.Ontheotherhand,theimprovementinenergyefficiencyinthetransportationandaccommodationsectorshasreducedthecarbonfootprint.InfluencingfactorsofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprintWiththeincreaseofinboundtouristvolumeandtraveldistance,thecarbonintensityofinboundtourisminChinahasbeendecreasing,indicatingtheimprovementofenergyefficiencyinthetourismindustry.However,thecombustionoffossilfuelsisstillthemaincontributortothecarbonfootprint,andtheproportionofnon-renewableenergyconsumptionisrelativelyhigh.Therefore,promotingtheuseofrenewableenergyandimprovingenergyefficiencyinthetourismindustryiscrucialforreducingthecarbonfootprint.China'sinboundtourismindustryhasshownsignificantgrowthinrecentyears,butitscontributiontocarbonemissionscannotbeignored.ThisstudythoroughlyanalyzesthetemporalandspatialcharacteristicsandevolutionofChina'sinboundtourismcarbonfootprint.ThefindingssuggestthatthecarbonfootprintofinboundtourisminChinaiscloselyrelatedtothegrowthofinboundtouristvolume,traveldistance,andfuelconsumption,andtheimprovementofenergyeffic
