vilEngineers(ASCE)standards,theAmericanConcreteInstitute(ACI)standards,andtheAmericanPetroleumInstitute(API)standards.Theseguidelinesprovidevaluableguidanceondesignrequirements,safetyfactors,andtestingprocedures.Thefoundationstructuredesignshouldconsiderthesite'ssoilconditions,seismicity,andwindloads.Thedesignshouldalsoconsiderthermalloadsandoperationalrequirements.Thefoundation'sdesignshouldbebasedonstructuralanalysisandconsiderationofthefoundation'sstiffness,dimensions,andmaterials.Thefoundationcanbeclassifiedintotwotypes:shallowfoundationanddeepfoundation.Ashallowfoundationissuitableforsoilconditionswithhighbearingcapacity,whereasadeepfoundationissuitableforsoilconditionswithlowbearingcapacity.Thefoundation'stypeshouldbedeterminedbasedonthesoilinvestigationresults.Thefoundationshouldbedesignedfollowingtherelevantcodesandstandardstoensurestructuralintegrityandstability.Thefoundationshouldbeabletowithstandtheexpectedloadsandbedesignedwith
