ThelessonI’mgoingtotalkaboutisUnit7what’thehighestmountainintheworld?I’llinterpretmylessonplanfromthefollowingaspects:

First,I’dliketoanalyzetheteachingmaterialandlearners.

ThislessonischosenfromthesectionAofunit7,Book8B,PEPJuniorEnglish.Thetopicofthisunitisfactsabouttheworld.Themaintaskforssistotalkaboutgeographyandnature.Eventhoughsshavelearnedthecomparativeandthesuperlativedegree,theymaystillfeelhardtotalkaboutgeographyandnature,becausetherearesomelargenumbersandunitsofmeasure.Thus,enoughpracticewillbeorganizedtohelpsslearnlargenumbers,newwordsandsentencestructures.

Baseontheanalysisabove,Isetthefollowingteachingaims:

1.Knowledgeaim.Aftertheclass,sswillknowsomebasicknowledgeaboutplaceslikeQomolangma,theNile,theSaharaandtheCaspianSea.Theywillbeabletoreadlargenumbersandusedifferentsentencestructurestoexpresscomparativesandsuperlatives,suchaswhat’sthehighestmountainintheworld?Qomolangmaishigherthananyothermountainintheworld.

2.Abilityaim.Bytheendofthislesson,sswillbebetterabletotalkaboutgeographyandnaturebyusingthetargetlanguageabove.

3.Emotionalaim.Duringtheclass,ss’interestinlearningEnglishwillbeincreasedbytalkingaboutourgreatnature.
