netreliefvalveinaccordancetoASMEB16.34andMSS-SP-45.b-ManualventinthebonnetinaccordancewithParagraph3.4.4.c-Drainholeintheupstreamsideofthediscwhichwillallowtheexpandedfluidtoflowintothesystem.d-Externalmanuallyoperatedbypassassemblydischargingintotheupstreamsideofthevalve.ThebypassshouldbeinaccordancewithParagraph3.4.5ofthisConfirmthis0ThegatevalvebonnetcavityshallnotConfirmthisoverpressurizedwhenthecavityisfullandthefluidtrappedinthebonnetisheatedfromtheambienttemperature(16'C)tothesystemdesigntemperature.Tomeetoverpressurizedwhenthecavityisfullandthefluidtrappedinthebonnetisheatedfromtheambienttemperature(16'C)tothesystemdesigntemperature.TomeetthisrequirementthebonnetshallbedesignedinaccordancetoASMEB31.1Section1Gatevalvedisc(plug)shallbefullyguidedassuringuniformaligningwithseat.Confirmthis2GatevalvesshallbefullportdesignperASMEB16.34ANNEXAunlessotherwiseVenturibodygatevalvesarerequirebyBidder'sapprovalandSpecifiedonValveDateConfirmthis3Valvesspecifiedas"LockedOpen"or"LockedClosed"shallbedesignedtoaccommodateadeviceforlockingthestemassemblyintheopenorclosedConfirmthisAllgatevalvesshallhavestemspackedwithTender'srecommendedself-lubricatingpacking(acceptabletoBidder),suitablefortheenvironmentandserviceconditionsspecifiedandhaving200ppm,orless,leachablechloride.Thepackingshallhaveprovisiontominimizecorrosionofstainlesssteelvalvestems.PackingshallbeinlinereplaceableandtheactuatorremovalshallnotberequiredforConfirmthisWhenspecifiedontheValveDataSheetsorrequiredbyTender'sdesign,valvesshallbeprovidedwithstuffingboxlanternrings.Thepackingbelowthelanternringshallbeafullsetcapableofwithstandingdesignconditionswithoutvisibleleakage.ThepackingabovethelanternringshallconsistofatleasthalfasetofpackingConfirmthisAlllanternglandleak-offconnectionsshall160mmlongstubsconnectedtothestuffingboxinaccordancewithASMEB16.34andMSS-SP-45.ConfirmthisEachvalveshallbeshippedwithpackinginstalled,unlessotherwiseindicatedinthisspecification.Thepackingshallbenewandnotpreviouslyusedinhydrotestingofthevalve.TheEachvalveshallbeshippedwithpackinginstalled,unlessotherwiseindicatedinthisspecification.Thepackingshallbenewandnotpreviouslyusedinhydrotestingofthevalve.ThevalveshallbedriedpriortoinstallationofnewConfirmthisThepackingglandflangeshallbesuchthatduringremovalofthepackinglostpartsareConfirmthisAllvalvesshallbecastorforgedwithbosses,aspermittedinASMEB16.34,toallowadditionofConfirmthisWhenspecifiedonValveDataSheetgatevalvesDN300andlargershallbeprovidedwithdrainconnectionseitherinthebottomofthevalvebody(betweentheseats),oronthebodyofthevalve(toremovethecondensatefromabovethedisc).Thedrainconnectionshallbea160mmlongpipestub,sizedandweldedtothevalvebodyinaccordancewithASMEB16.34.TendershallprovideapipeplugorcaptocloseeachbodydrainConfirmthisWhenspecifiedonattachedValveDataSheetsthebonnetshallbeprovidedwithdrainconnections.Thedrainshallbedesignedtoremovewaterand/orcrudinthebonnetwhenthevalveispositionedbelowConfirmthis3.4.5ValveConfirmthisGatevalvesDN200andlarger,whenspecifiedonValveDataSheet,shallbeprovidedwithaDN25bypassconnectiontothevalvebodyinaccordancetoASMEB16.34andMSS-SP-45.TheTendershallprovidewiththemainvalveoneDN25bypassvalve.BiddershallprovidetheremainderofthebypassinaccordancewithParagraph1.3ofthisConfirmthisThematerialsofthebypassassemblyshallbeThematerialsofthebypassassemblyshallbehavesocketweldendsandtheconstructionfeaturesidenticaltothosedescribedinASMESectionConfirmthisEndThevalvesshallbeprovidedwithbuttends,unlessotherwisespecifiedonValveDataSheetsinaccordancewithASMEB16.34.ConfirmthisValvesweldedtopipingofanincompatiblematerialshallbeprovidedwithadditional160mmlongstubendsthatarecompatiblewiththepipingmaterialforfieldwelding.ThethicknessofthestubendsshallbeselectedonthebasisofthedesigntemperatureandpressureofthevalveandthecapabilityoftheendtowithstandthehydrostatictestspecifiedfortheConfirmthisMaterialandTendershallberesponsiblefortheselectionintheconstructionoftheequipmentandConfirmthisMaterialsapplicationshallbecompatiblewiththefluidshandledandtherangeofoperatingconditionsspecified.ThematerialsapplicableshallbesubjecttoBidder'sConfirmthisAllmaterials,excludingpackingandgaskets,shallconformtotherequirementsoftheapplicableASTMspecificationsandadditionalrequirementsspecifiedConfirmthisAllgatevalvesshallhavestainlesssteelConfirmthisThefollowingvalvecomponentsshallbehardfacedwithStelliteNo.6oranalternateacceptabletoConfirmthis 1,000Confirmthis.3PrussianbluelayoutinkshallnotbeConfirmthis.4Tendershallsubmitalistofexpendableproductstobeused,theManufacturer'snameandproductidentification,forBidder'sreviewandConfirmthis.2.1WeldingprocedureformaterialrepairshallconformtotheapplicableASTMspecificationandConfirmthisfollowingAllweldingproceduresandweldersfollowingAllweldingproceduresandweldersshallbequalifiedinaccordancewithASMESectionIX.ConfirmthisHardsurfacingproceduresshallbequalifiedinaccordancewithASMEIX.ConfirmthisTheexaminationofthehardfacingtestassemblyshallbeinaccordancewithASMEIX.Theacceptancecriteriaforthesectioningtestandthehardnesstestshallbeasfollow:a-Thetwofacesexposedbysectioningshallbepolishedandetchedwithasuitableetchantandshallbevisuallyexaminedforcracks.Thedepositandthebasematerialshallbefreefromcracks,lackoffusion,andotherlineardefectsinexcessofthesmallerof0.75mmor20percentofthedepositthicknessinlength,onvisualexaminationwith5Xmagnification.b-AminimumofthreehardnessdeterminationsshallbetakenatlocationsrepresentingtheminimumMinimumacceptablehardnessisRockwellConfirmthis3.6OperationAllvalvesandaccessoriesshallmeettheperformancerequirementofthisspecificationwhileoperatingwithintheenvironmentspecifiedunderparagraph7.2.TendershallclearlyidentifyanyeffectonlifeexpectancyofthevalvesandaccessoriesunderParagraph7.3.ConfirmthisSoundBidderwillreviewthesoundlevelofequipmentcoveredbythisspecification.Soundlevelmeasuredatadistanceof1.0mfromtheoutlineoftheequipmentshallnotexceedtheallowablelimitspecifiedinParagraphConfirmthis3.7.2IfTenderexpectsthemaximumsoundlevelConfirmthistheequipmenttoexceedthespecifiedallowabletheequipmenttoexceedthespecifiedallowablelimitatadistanceof1.0m.Tendershalluseacousticaltreatmentfeatures,subjecttoBidder'sreviewandacceptance,toachievethesoundcontrolElectricactuatingElectricdeviceshallbeoneofLIMITORQUE.TypeselectionfortheproductsshallbefinallydeterminedbytheBidder.Confirmthis3.8.2ControloftheselectedelectricactuatingdeviceshallbesafeandreliableanditcanbeoperatedlocallyorremotelycontrolledandcanmeettherequirementofConfirmthis3.8.3Electricdevicesofallelectricvalvesshallbeintegratedintelligentproducts,i.e.electricdeviceisinternallyinstalledwithsuchdistributionequipmentascontactorandthermalrelay.TheBidderonlyneedstoprovide3Phase380Vdynamicpowersupplyandopen/close/stopcontrolsignal(drycontact)tooperateConfirmthisTheactuatorcanacceptcontrolsignalnotonlyinmaintainedtypebutalsosingleshot.Ifacceptingsingleshotcontrolsignal,actuatorcankeepituntilcontrolactionisachievedandactuatorcanacceptstopcontrolsignalwhennecessary.OPEN/CLOSE/STOPpush-buttonandindicatelightforvalveopen/close/stopshallbeprovidedwithelectricConfirmthisAllelectricvalvesshallatleastbeprovidedetccontactsoutputforBidderuse:twoopenandtwoclosecontact
