——新媒體之我見班級:10公管組員:邵俊沈明月薛晴健袁籍張杰1.SelectnewmediaChineseandEnglishbookeach1this,inthebookofviewpointsonandintroduction;1.Theforeignresearchnewmediamonograph"newnewmedia"PaulLevinsonisProfessorofCommunication&MediaStudiesatFordhamUniversityinNewYorkCity.PaulLevinsonisaforemostauthorityonmediaandcommunications,andhismostrecentbook,NewNewMedia,contributessignificantlytothatreputation.NewNewMediaisacomprehensiveintroductionandusers'guidetowhatisknownas"web2.0,"themultipleformsofelectronicinteractionthatdidnotexistinourcultureonlyafewyearsago.Levinsonexploreshowthesetechnologiesaresupplantingourattentionandengagement,andthereforetransformingoursocietyInitLevinsonnotonlyenumeratesthevariousclassesofnewnewmediaandtheirrelationshipswitholderforms,suchasnewspapertoblogortelevisiontoYouTube,healso,throughmeansofgermaneexamplesfromthecontemporarypoliticalandsocialsphere,illustratesthegood,thebad,andtheuglyofeachofthesenewforms,makingitanexcellentprimerforthoughtfulengagementwiththeunfoldingculture.NewNewMediaservesbothasacompendiumtothepresentageofcommunicationmediaandalsoasarecordofhowwefirstengagedwiththese"openforms".Everyoneknowssomeonewhoisopenlycriticalofnewnewmedia,perhapswithoutunderstandinghowtheseemergentformsexisttocomplimentournewtechnologiesandmodesofinteraction.IfthereisaLudditeonyourgift-givinglist,NewNewMediawouldbeanexcellentchoicetohelpthemseemlesslikeaConnecticutYankeeataStarTrekconvention,andmorelikeacitizenofthisdayandage.2.UrbanYouthinChina:Modernity,theInternetandtheSelfFengshuLiusituatesthelivesofChineseyouthandthegrowthoftheInternetagainstthebackdropofrapidandprofoundsocialtransformationinChina.In2008,thetotalofInternetusersinChinahadreached253million(incomparisonwith22.5millionin2001).Yet,despiterapidgrowth,theInternetinChinaissofarapredominantlyurban-youthphenomenon,withyoungpeopleunderthirty(especiallythoseundertwenty-four),mostlymembersoftheonly-childgeneration,asthemaingroupofthenetizens'population.AsbothyouthandtheInternetholdthepotentialtoinflict,oratleastcontributeto,far-reachingeconomic,social,cultural,andpoliticalchanges,thisbookfulfillsapressingneedforasystematicalinvestigationofhowyouthandtheInternetareinteractingwitheachotherinaChinesecontext.Insodoing,LiushedslightonwhatitmeanstobeaChinesetoday,how'Chineseness'maybe(re)constructedintheInternetAge,andwhattheimplicationsoftheemergingformofidentityareforcontemporaryandfutureChinesesocietiesaswellastheworld.HamiltonCollege漢密爾頓學(xué)院CinemaandNewMediaStudies電影和新媒體研究2.Selectthenewmediaresearchathomeandabroadwell-knowninstituteoratleast1university,andtheresearchachievementsofrecentsituationorbriefly。ThegoalofHamilton'sCinemaandNewMediaStudiesProgramistoblendstudyinfilmhistoryandtheorywhileprovidingstudentsopportunitiestopursuetheirownartisticvisionsthroughtheusesofnewtechnology。OverviewIntoday'sdigitalworld,movingimagesextendfarbeyondthetraditionalmoviescreen.CinemaandNewMediaStudiesexploresfilmasan“intellectualnexus”—awayofthinkingabouttheworldacrossboundaries.AndbecausefilmstudiesatHamiltoniscombinedwithnewmedia,studentshaveopportunitiestoseethebroadercontextofimageryandtextintheproductionofknowledgeandculture.Coursesfromthroughoutthecurriculumexaminethewaysreligion,race,ethnicity,gender,nationality,class,thenaturalenvironmentandothersocialandphysicalforcesarerepresentedandexploredincinemaandnewmediaasartisticexpression.Throughtheinterdisciplinaryminorincinemaandnewmediastudies,studentspursuehistoricalandtheoreticalstudyand/orcreatephotochemical,electronicanddigitalmediaastheyconstructorexpressindividualartisticvisionsandculturalidentities.Studentsanalyzetheusesoftechnologyinrepresentingandconstructingknowledgebymeansofperformance,programmingorparticipationinthecreationofmulti-mediadocumentsandhands-onexperienceinclassassignments.Coursesintheprogramblendfilmhistoryandtheory,andfocusongenresrangingfromavant-gardetodocumentaryfilm.Academicdiscussion(學(xué)術(shù)討論)
