motherwasholdingherhusbandshand,lookingupathimasiftosay,“Youaremyknightin

shiningarmor.^^Hewassmilingandrespondinginpride,lookingbackatherasiftosay“Yougot

thatright”.Theticketladyaskedthefatherhowmanyticketshewanted.Heproudlyresponded

"pleaseletmebuyeightchildren'sticketsandtwoadultticketssoIcantakemyfamilytothe

circus.

Theticketladygavetheprice.Theman'swifeletgoofhishand,loweredherheadandherlips

itwouldbeliketolivethere.

Dayslater,wemadeanoffer,whichwasfarbelowtheaskingprice.Asthepricewassolow,

wewereafraidthattheywouldlaughitoff.Surprisingly,theydidn*tlaughatus.Theyrenewed

theirofferinstead.Itwasalsomuchmorethanwecouldactuallyafford,butfarlessthanthe

originalaskingprice.

Thenextday,wegotadisappointingmessagethatanotherbuyerofferedamuchhigherprice.

Evenso,wemadeupourmindstotalkwiththeownersdirectly.Wemadeourfinaloffer,which

wasstillthousandsofdollarslessthantheotherbuyer'sbid.Weknewit,yetwedecidedtohavea
