Televisionturnsouttobenogreattransformerofmindsorsociety.Weare

enough,versatileenoughand(mostimportantofall)cheapenoughtoserveas
thebrainsofaffordablemachinesthattheirplaceontheassemblylineandin
theoffice.
Thismeansthatthedull,theboring,therepetitious,themind-stultifyingwork
willbegintodisappearfromthejobmarket—isalreadybeginningto
disappear.This,ofcourse,willintroducetwovitalsetsofproblem—is
