andanotedrecluse.Amasterofthefive-wordline,Taohasbeendescribedasthefirstgreat“poetoffieldsandgardens”.HenryDavidThoreau(1817-1862)wasanAmericanessayist,poet,andphilosopher.Hebeganwritingnaturepoetryinhisearlytwenties,withpoetRalphWaldo
