等值理論視閾下導(dǎo)游口譯的英譯研究——以黑龍江景觀翻譯為例的中期報告InterpretationofTourGuidesfromthePerspectiveofEquityTheory:AStudyonEnglishTranslationofHeilongjiangLandscapes-Mid-termReportAbstract:Tourguidesplayacrucialroleinpromotingtourism,providingtravelerswithinformation,andenhancingtheirexperience.Interpretationisanessentialskillfortourguides,particularlyforthoseworkinginlocationswithdiverselinguisticbackgrounds.Thisstudyexaminestheinterpretationoftourguidesfromtheperspectiveofequitytheory,focusingontheEnglishtranslationofHeilongjianglandscapes.Theresearchaimstoexploretherelationshipbetweentourguide'sinterpretationandtourist'ssatisfaction.Thestudyemploysamixed-methodapproach,combininginterviewswithbothtourguidesandtouristsandtextualanalysisoftheirinterpretations.Thestudy'spreliminaryfindingsrevealthatthetourguide'sinterpretationofthelandscapeaffectsthetourist'sperceptionofthelandscape,tourists'satisfactionispositivelycorrelatedwithtourguide'sinterpretation,andequitytheoryprovidesaframeworkforunderstandingtherelationshipbetweeninterpretationandsatisfaction.Introduction:TourismisasignificantindustryinChina,withmanyregionsattractingdomesticandinternationaltourists.Tourguidesplayanessentialroleinprovidinginformationaboutthedestination,disseminatingculturalknowledge,andcreatingapositiveexperiencefortourists.However,manytouristsfacebarrierstofullyunderstandingthelocation'ssignificanceduetolinguisticandculturaldifferences.Inthesesituations,interpretationbecomesacriticaltoolfortourguidestobridgethegap.Interpretationistheprocessofexplaining,translating,orconvertingonelanguageorcultureintoanother.Interpretingalandscapeinvolvesconveyingitshistory,culturalimportance,anduniqueattributesinawaythathighlightsitsappealtotourists.ThisstudyfocusesontheinterpretationoftourguidesatHeilongjianglandscapesforEnglish-speakingtourists.Theregionishometouniquelandscapes,includingtheYabuliSkiResort,theWudalianchiScenicArea,andtheJingpoLakeScenicSpot.Thestudyaimedtoidentifythechallengesfacedbytourguidesininterpretingtheselandscapesandtheimpactofinterpretationontouristsatisfaction.Equitytheoryprovidedaframeworkforexaminingtherelationshipbetweenthetwovariables.Methodology:Thestudyemployedamixed-methodapproach,includinginterviewswith10tourguidesand30touristsandtextualanalysisoftourguides'interpretations.Thedatacollectionmethodwasconductedintwophases.Inphaseone,interviewswereconductedwithtentourguidestounderstandtheirinterpretationprocess,challenges,andstrategies.Open-endedquestionswereusedtoexplorethetourguides'experiencewithinterpretinglandscapesandtheirunderstandingoftheequitytheory.Inphasetwo,thirtytouristsvisitedtheselectedscenicspotsinHeilongjiangprovinceandwereaskedtoevaluatetheirexperienceandsatisfaction.Thetouristswerethenaskedtoevaluatetheinterpretationofthetourguide.Theinterviewswereconductedafterthetour,andopen-endedquestionswereusedtoevaluatetheirlevelofsatisfactionwiththeinterpretationandthesignificanceofthelandscape.DataanalysiswasconductedusingNVivosoftware.Thematicanalysisoftheinterviewdatawasperformedtoidentifythekeythemesrelatedtotourguideinterpretationoflandscapes,andthecorrelationbetweensatisfactionandinterpretationwasanalyzed.Findings:Thestudy'sinitialfindingsshowedthattourguides'interpretationoflandscapesaffectstourists'satisfaction.Thestudyidentifiedtwoessentialelementsthataffecttourists'evaluationoftheinterpretationprocess:accuracyandculturalsensitivity.Accuracyreferstotheextenttowhichthetourguide'sinterpretationofthelandscapeisconsistentwiththelandscape'sactualhistory,culture,andcharacteristics.Culturalsensitivityreferstotheinterpretation'sappropriateness,relevance,andresonancewithtourists'culturalbackgrounds.Tourguidesfacedseveralchallengeswhileinterpretinglandscapes,includinglinguistic,cultural,andcontextualfactors.Languagebarrierswerethemostsignificantchallengereportedbytourguides.SometourguideslackedproficiencyinEnglish,whileothersstruggledtofindequivalenttranslationsfortechnicalterms.Tourguidesalsoreportedthatinterpretinglandscapesrequiredadeepunderstandingofthelandscape'sculturalsignificance,whichwassometimeschallengingduetothecomplexityandlayeringofculturalexperiences.Equitytheoryprovidedaframeworkforunderstandingtherelationshipbetweeninterpretationandsatisfaction.Accordingtoequitytheory,satisfactiondependsonwhetheranindividual'scontributionsareadequatelyrecognizedandrewarded.Inthetourismcontext,tourists'satisfactionwithinterpretationiscontingentuponwhethertheinterpretationalignswiththeirexpectations,culturalbackgrounds,andfeelingsofvalueandrespect.Conclusion:Thisstudyaimedtoexploretherelationshipbetweentourguideinterpretationandtouristsatisfactionfromanequitytheoryperspective.Thestudyfoundthattourguideinterpretationaffectstourists'satisfactionwiththelandscape.Factorssuchasaccuracyandculturalsensitivityinfluencetourists'evaluationoftheinterpretationprocess.Thestudyalsoid
