中國在邁向二十一世紀的同時，也面臨著一些巨大的挑戰(zhàn)，為了確保我國的富強及為子孫后代著想，我們必需面對挑戰(zhàn)并最終從根本上解決它們。

一些中國即將面臨的挑戰(zhàn)迫切的問題是全球普遍存在的。這些問題包括環(huán)境惡化，人口過剩及全球化的影響。為了解決這些問題，我們需要實施以下措施：

(1)提高并增加我們的科學及產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)，如在信息技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)，生物技術(shù)領(lǐng)域，人工智能以及神經(jīng)機械學領(lǐng)域;

(2)加快推動欠發(fā)達地區(qū)的公共設施建設;

(3)促進不同層次的教育改革;

(4)使可持續(xù)進展的觀念深化人心;

(5)推行中國與東南亞聯(lián)盟的自由貿(mào)易協(xié)定。

中國將受益于樂觀主動的實行具有重要深遠意義的措施。熟悉到這些措施需要實施到中國社會的各個層面是重要的，從而帶來廣泛且深遠的各種改善，如：邊緣科技及學問產(chǎn)權(quán);進展以電子商務為基礎(chǔ)的經(jīng)濟;一種鼓舞創(chuàng)造與制造的教育體制;更多的外國投資;更高的生活水平;更加有效的利用自然資源。

我們要意識到各項改革措施是根本的也是有必要的。這些將會促進中國在世界舞臺上實現(xiàn)其巨大且尚未實現(xiàn)的潛力。

這也將會對全球化的新世紀做出貢獻。

至于將來，我們的任務不是去預知將來，而是努力去使其成為現(xiàn)實。

Whyaren'twetiredofsomethingsofanciful,sounrealistic,and,Iwouldsay,sounimaginative?Howcanastorylikethatenduregenerationsofrepetition`?Because,Ithink,itisatypicalsuccessstory.Itishighlyphilosophicalandsymbolic.Byimplication,weseea4-stepdefinitionofsuccess:1)agoaltobeset.asrepresentedbythebeautifulprincess;2)challengestobemet,asrepresentedbythethreetasks;3)theprocessofsurmountingdifficulties,asrepresentedbytheordealstheyouthgoesthrough;and4)therewardofsuccess,asrepresentedbythehappymarriage.

勝利之我見

“很久以前，有個國王，他的女兒貌美如花。老國王向全部來求婚的男士提出了三個任務作為挑戰(zhàn)，而每一項任務都特別艱難，幾乎不行能完成。一天，來了一位年輕英俊的王子……”好了，下面的故事你們都知道了。三項任務在不同的版本中各不相同，但關(guān)鍵部分的情節(jié)都如出一轍:王子勝利地過關(guān)，得到了公主的芳心。而故事的結(jié)局也都一樣，最終一句都寫道:“從今他們幸福地生活在一起。

為什么我們對如此奇妙、如此不切實際,而我要說,如此缺乏想象力的東西這么樂此不疲呢?這樣的故事又如何能夠經(jīng)受幾代人的重復?我想，由于它是典型的勝利的例子。故事的思想性很強，具有代表性。通過故事帶給我們的啟示，我們熟悉到了勝利定義中的四個步驟;第一，目標的設定，有如故事里漂亮的公主;其次，所遇到的困難和挑戰(zhàn)，就像三大任務;第三，克服困難的過程，故事中青年經(jīng)受重重難關(guān)可以作為象征;第四，就是勝利的果實，猶如幸福的婚姻。

這個故事不僅迎合了人們內(nèi)心深處對勝利的憧憬，也強調(diào)了過程和結(jié)果的不行分別。假如通往勝利的道路坎坷曲折，那么勝利的回報必定碩果累累，反之亦然。假如一個人繼承了父輩的百萬家產(chǎn)而生活得輕松富足，那么，即使在物質(zhì)上，他也不能算是個勝利人士，由于，他的財寶并沒有經(jīng)過困難困苦而獲得。準確地說，“勝利”這個詞，不是個靜態(tài)簡潔的定義。在我的理解中，真正意義上的勝利是奮斗的過程和經(jīng)受了奮斗之后贏得的滿足的結(jié)果。請讓我另舉一例來闡明我的見解。

假如我們試著轉(zhuǎn)變足球的競賽規(guī)章，將球門放得很大，換下大衛(wèi)?希曼或其他任何的守門員，這樣，任憑哪個“大衛(wèi)”，比如說，“大衛(wèi)?貝克漢姆”，就可以輕松進球，然而這樣進一球卻不能給他帶來勝利的震顫與喜悅。假如我們再改一改競賽規(guī)章，不讓阿森納隊的防守來守門，那么，貝克漢姆只要動動手，其實就是抬抬腳就能進一球，那樣的話、，實際上也沒有什么競賽可言了，由于贏球的意義已經(jīng)不存在了。在接受挑戰(zhàn)、克服困難和經(jīng)受磨難的過程中，“勝利”的價值才得以豐滿。取得成果的意義和所克服的困難的程度成正比。所謂勝利的概念不是一成不變的.而曇相對而言的,由于困難的性質(zhì)也是相對意義上的。

正常人不費勁氣做成的事對于一個殘疾人來說或許相當困難。獲得了同正常人一樣的力量，這個殘疾人就獲得了勝利。這便是我們?yōu)槭裁闯缇词返俜?霍金的緣由—雖然行動不便，受到了輪椅的限制，他依舊為科學界作出了巨大的貢獻。

就我自己而言，生性羞怯，簡單怯場，不得不鼓起特別大的士氣來參與此次的演講競賽。我完全可以待在一邊，不參與高校級別的競賽，而落得輕松拘束?？墒?，我還是選擇了接受這一挑戰(zhàn)來面對困難?，F(xiàn)在我來了，假如我能夠得第一的話.這對我來說就是巨大的勝利。假如，我是最終一名—我盼望狀況不是這樣—但假如我真的是最終一名，我也不會認為這次的嘗試是一次失敗，反而我要把它當作一次真正的勝利來慶賀，由于我一部分的目標是對自己性格的熬煉—更加頑強、英勇地面對困難。對我來說，這標志著我在通向勝利人生的漫漫征途中又向前邁進了一步，盡管是很小的一步，但是我的確通過參加真正地獲得了收益。

回到我們年輕英俊的王子和對“勝利”的四步驟定義上吧，您或許已經(jīng)留意到了財寶、地位和名譽等這些世俗的標準在故事中并未提及，相反故事強調(diào)了克服重重困難的過程。古代的才智已經(jīng)對勝利的意義下了定義，這也是我的定義。
