Communication can make our life more convenient . For instance,if we want to make a friend with somebody ,we sho

2、uld talk with her first in order to know more about her.This cant without communication.If we work in the service trades,we have to communicate with the customers to know what they needs.This also cant without communication.Thats why someone has a lot of friends,but someone has no friend,someone is

3、more popular with people but someone is boring.The most major different is communication.Someone is good at it ,someone not.So the affects are obvious. All in all,communication is an important part in our lives.,Good communication is the foundation of successful relationships, both personally and pr

4、ofessionally. But we communicate with much more than words. In fact, research shows that the majority of our communication is nonverbal. Nonverbal communication, or body language, includes our facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, posture, and even the tone of our voice.,5,Humans use nonverbal

5、communication because:,1. Words have limitations. 2. Nonverbal signal are powerful. 3. Nonverbal message are likely to be more genuine. 4. Nonverbal signals can express feelings inappropriate to state. 5. A separate communication channel is necessary to help send complex messages.,6,Nonverbal Commun

6、ication Skills,facial expressions,7,Face is mirror of an individuals personality. Facial expressions reveal what thoughts are running through a persons mind. For e.g. a smile expresses friendliness and affection. Raised eye-brows show surprise and furrowed forehead conveys fear and anxiety. All the

7、emotions and various types of human behavior bring different expressions on face. So while communicating see that the facial expressions reveal your interest for the subject on which you are communicating.,8,hand and body gestures,9,The body movements while speaking must coordinate with your convinc

For e.g. A head down shows the completion of a statement, raising of head indicates the end of the question. More frequent body movements reveal a state hurry or confusion in mind.,10,1

Coined in the early to mid-1960s, the term has come in the West to often define the act as a meaningful and important sign of confidence and social communication. The cust

As many of us cross over cultural borders, it would be fitting for us to respect, learn, and understand more about the effective, yet powerful silent language of gestures.
