5、ut the social practice.6) Tom said “New York is more lively than London.”7) He told me about his summer experiences.8) I told her that I had no interest in such movies.直接引語和間接引語:直接引語是引用別人的原話,把講話內(nèi)容放在引號內(nèi)。間接引語是用自己的話加以轉(zhuǎn)述,被轉(zhuǎn)述的話不放在引號內(nèi)。直接引語的用法顯而易見就是把別人的話不加任何改變地說出來,而間接引語在大多數(shù)情況下是一個賓語從句。我們在運用間接引語時,要注意人稱、時態(tài)和語序
6、。1) 如果我們要轉(zhuǎn)述的話語是個陳述,那么這樣的間接引語要由連詞that引導(that在口語中常省略)。She said,”I am very happy to help you.”She said that she was very happy to help you.2) 當我們要轉(zhuǎn)述的話語是個一般(選擇、反意)疑問時,我們 要用連詞whether 或 if 來引出我們要轉(zhuǎn)述的話。如:She asked me,” Do you like playing football?”She asked me if / whether I liked playing football.She aske
7、d me whether he could do it or not.She hesitated about whether or not to take the train.3) 當我們要轉(zhuǎn)述的話是特殊疑問句時就要用相應的疑問詞who,whom,whose,how,when,why,where等引導。如:My sister asked me ,”How do you like the film?”My sister asked me how I liked the film.4) 直接引語如果是祈使句,通常變成ask / tell/ order sb (not) to do sth 的結(jié)構。
8、“Please open the door.” the teacher said to me.The teacher asked me to open the door.5)當直接引語表示客觀事實或普遍真理時,變?yōu)殚g接引語,時態(tài)不變。The teacher said, “The earth goes round the sun.” The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun.6)當直接引語中有具體的一般過去時間作狀語時,變?yōu)殚g接引語時,時態(tài)不變。She said, “I was born in 1990.” She said that

10、orethe week (month, year) beforethe next/following day地點狀語herethere動詞comego注意:如果轉(zhuǎn)述時就在原來的地方,就在說話的當天,就不必改變指示代詞、時間狀語、地點狀語等。8)時態(tài)的變化 主句為現(xiàn)在或?qū)頃r態(tài),間接引語的時態(tài)一般不變;主句為過去時態(tài)時,間接引語一般作相應的變化。變化見下表:直接引語間接引語一般現(xiàn)在時一般過去時現(xiàn)在進行時過去進行時現(xiàn)在完成時過去完成時一般過去時過去完成時過去完成時過去完成時一般將來時過去將來時Step 4 Practice and consolidationActivity 18 Read and
