1、學(xué)習(xí)必備歡迎下載動詞 -ing 做狀語【學(xué)案】(必修四第四單元語法點)1.-ing短語在句子中可作狀語,來修飾謂語動詞或整個句子,表示動作發(fā)生的時間、原因、條件、結(jié)果、讓步或伴隨等情況。2. -ing 短語作狀語一般表示一個次要的動作, 一般都可以變?yōu)橄鄳?yīng)的狀語從句或并列句。1. 作時間狀語-ing 短語作時間狀語要置于句首。如:Hearing the bad news, they couldnt help crying.=When_,theycouldnthelpcrying.當(dāng)聽到這個不幸的消息時,他們情不自禁地哭了起來。Having received his letter, I deci
2、ded to write back.=After_, I decided to write back.收到他的信后,我決定給他回信。注意:當(dāng)v-ing形式所表示的動作發(fā)生在謂語動詞動作之前時,應(yīng)使用完成式:havingdone_(finish) his homework, he rushed out to play basketball.2. 作原因狀語-ing短語作原因狀語置于句首。如:Being so angry, he couldnt go to sleep.=Because_, he couldnt go to sleep.因為太生氣了, 他不能入睡。Having been to th
3、e Great Wall many times, he didn t go last week.=_he had been to the Great Wall many times, he didnt go因last為 wee他已經(jīng)去過長城許多次,上周他就沒去。3. 作條件狀語-ing作條件狀語置于句首或句末。如:Workinghard,youwillsucceed.學(xué)習(xí)必備歡迎下載=If_, you will succeed.如果你勤奮一點,你就會成功。4. 作讓步狀語-ing短語作讓步狀語,可置于句首或句末,常與even if, though連用。如:Though working from
4、 morning till night, his father didn t get enough food.=Though_, he didnt get enough food.雖然他父親從早到晚拼命地干活,但是他還是掙不到足夠的吃的。5. 作伴隨狀語置于句首或句末。如: They came into the classroom, singing and laughing.=They sang and laughed; they came into the classroom.他們又唱又笑地走進教室。注意:連詞 +現(xiàn)在分詞1. -ing 短語與 when, while, though, un
5、til, if 等連詞連用時,相當(dāng)于這些連詞引導(dǎo)的一個從句。如:When working in the factory, he was an advanced worker.=When_, he Though willingto attend the party, he refused theinvitation.=Though he was willing to attend the party, was an advanced worker.用 “連詞 +現(xiàn)在分詞 ”的結(jié)構(gòu)If you play all day, you will waste your valuable time.=If
6、playing all day, you will waste your valuable time.2. 動詞 -ing 形式在句中作狀語時,其邏輯主語與主句的主語 保持一致 。如:He traveled on the plane like this, keeping the tortoise hidden in a blanket.= When he traveled on the plane like this, he kept the tortoise hidden in a blanket. Being fine, we will have the sports meeting next week.b. It being fine, we will have the sports meeting next week.-ing 形式的否定式為在其前面加not。如: He sat there, not k
