Get the students to read the words by looking at the Chinese words. Then look at the Chinese words and say out the English words.2.
13、 Then get them to work in pairs to spell the words or write down the words with the Chinese given in guide books. Underline the words they havent grasped.3. Get the students to have a short dictation about the important words and phrases. 【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】本環(huán)節(jié)為鞏固單詞。通過朗讀和使用助學(xué)默寫來對單詞加以鞏固。這一環(huán)節(jié)有少部分的學(xué)生不能當(dāng)堂達(dá)標(biāo),需要利用自習(xí)課或

While she was making her way to school, the rain began to beat heavily against the towers and other buildings.In school, her classmates told her the World Trade Center in New York was taken down by terrorists just minutes ago. She though
17、t they were kidding at first. but she knew the truth quickly after that. The weather and feelings were terrible recently! Her heart was icy. In the evening, she told her parents the news. Her parents were completely shocked. They didnt talk and eat dinner in silence. Cathy didnt fall asleep until th
18、e wind was dying down.When she woke up the sun was rising. The storm broke many things apart, fallen trees and broken things were everywhere. Most Americans also found the passages about the World Trade Center in newspapers. They will remember the date forever - 2001 9, 11.2. Give students a few min
19、utes to try to comprehend the passage first . 3. Read the vocabulary words in red in the passage.4. Read again and ask students to repeat every word after you.5.
