10、ls, teacher has a little guide to students, thus affect their reading habit. it is bad for improving reading speed and comprehension ability and greatly reduce the students interest and confidence in reading, thus can not achieve the purpose of reading. third, as students read method is not correct

21、ading class are the first persons who access to new foreign language. intensive reading is a kind of reading method, but what is the intensive reading? according to the dictionary, intensive reading is " to read repeatedly and carefully." reading is an important way to collect information,

22、 understand the world, develop thinking, and obtain aesthetic experience. there are many ways to read, as a kind of reading method, intensive reading is an reading method mainly to research and study some special words, and to extract information on the basis of fully understanding. in this method,

23、the students filter, analyze, synthesize, associate and a series of complex mental activities to grasp the author's thoughts and feelings and creative intent. intensive reading, it means that ye shengtao and zhu ziqing called " to read finely and carefully" as early as 40 years in the

24、20th century. the intensive reading curriculum standards pose that each course can be devided as intensive reading class and extensive reading class. there are intensive reading teaching method and extensive teaching method. intensive require look up new words in the dictionary. students must transf

25、orm from using english-chinese dictionary to english-english dictionary and figure out each word's precise meaning in context, and note the phonetic of each word and repeatedly practice so that to pronounce correctly. students also need to understand the deep meaning of every word, and must pay

26、attention to the analysis on the statement, make clear the relationship between words and phrases, sentences and sentence. to master the basic grammar is an important mean to help student understand the text. it is a curriculum objective to enable students to learn how to use intensive reading by us

34、her need a deep understanding to the text, accurately grasp the learning objectives. the teacher must be good at using the appropriate methods to stimulate students interest in reading. for example, some articles include the author, the background, and the important people, events, scene of the text

38、 of performance techniques. the content of intensive reading is substance of the article, and the most important is to stimulate students to study and grasp the content of an article. it is a scientific method. the key words in the article are selected by several times to express the theme of articl

39、e. the teacher should guide students to use reference books and synonym translation to understand the words. they also can add relevant knowledge. this can make students understand the words more accurately in intensive reading.2.3. the teacher should coordinate with other reading methods.
