1、albert einstein優(yōu)化設計 aims: 1. teach the subjunctive mood. 2. teach the new words and the text. 3. phrases: pull on, have on, by then, devote oneself to, lead to time: 4 periods the steps of teaching:the first period procedur: the teacher will use this period to study the subjunctive mood. the subjunc
2、tive mood is used to express a wish or expecta lion that someting may ormay not happen. usually it is not true. the subjunctive is always used in a conditionalclause. then the teacher will say something about subjunctive used in conditional clausesand main clauses. 1. 表示與現(xiàn)在事實相反,謂語動詞的主要形式如下:condition

4、hey were here now, they could (might) help us, with the pronoun i and he both singular number you would expect a singular verb,am, is, was. "were" is generally only used for plural. but in the sentences just given toyou, "were" is not plural, but subjunctive. that on construction

(4) if it were to snow tomorrow, they would not go out. but sometimes the tense of conditional clause and main clause are not the same. this kind of sentences
8、are called sentences of mixed condition. (1) "if i had missed", said william tell, "and had shot too low, i was going to use this arrow on you". (2) if it had not been for me, you would not be free. (3) if you had spoken to him yesterday, you would know what to do now. sometimes

13、. funny: causing fun or amusement; a funny story what a funny story!多么有趣的故事啊! that' s the funniea joke rve ever heard. 那是我曾聽過的最有趣的笑話。 (4) "i remember" she tells her childrer now, "how wild his white hair looked as if ithad been eleetirtied. " tells表示她現(xiàn)在常對子女講述這件事,而不是只講過一次。 as
14、if it had been electrified 前面用破折號,表示從句是用來進一步說明 how wild his white hair looked as if (or as though) 的從句謂語用虛擬語氣 fiona is walking slowly as if she were tired. (7) i noticed he had on bedroom slippers. he had forgotten to put on his shoes. have on 穿(衣); 戴 (帽) (表示狀
16、態(tài)) had she a hat on? 她戴著帽子嗎? put on穿; 戴(表示動作) antonym: take off he put on his hat and coat and went out. (8) put down 放下 put down the book. the man put down his gun and walked away. read the first paragraph. review what the students have learned in the period. homework: 1. remember the new words we
