3、詞中的重讀。看誰讀的準確。 重讀第一個一節(jié): beautiful country wonderful 重讀中間的一個音節(jié):potato tomorrow October重讀最后一個音節(jié): about today cartoon復習學過句子的重讀。(當我們說英語時,常重讀句中重要的單詞,如:名詞、動詞、和副詞等。而冠詞、介詞、代詞、連詞一般不重讀。)請準確讀出下列句子:Amy thinks rabbits are lovely .Peter is crary about goldfish .Mr Jiang has bought a new robot2探究學習Step 1 Revision1.

Lead Ss to discuss the use of stress in sentences. Tell Ss, “When we read a sentence loud, we can stress some of the words t

6、o show that they are more important. Each time, the stress gives the sentence a slightly different meaning. The words we stress can change the meanings of the sentence. ”Step 3 Practice1. Play the recording for part A through once and ask students to listen carefully to the stressed words. 2. Play t

7、he recording again and encourage students to imitate what they hear. Ask students to read the sentences aloud. 3. Explain how the stressed words affect the meanings of the sentences. 4. Divide the class into pairs. Ask students to read out the sentences to each other, stressing the words in bold. Li

8、sten to the sentences as you walk around the class. Praise areas where students perform well. 5. Write an example sentence on the blackboard:“The dog ate four tins of beans yesterday.” Ask Ss to read the sentence by stressing correct words according to the questions.
