1、Fault messages concerning hot film mass air flow sensor (HFM) and/or intake air temperature sensor -投訴Faults related to the hot film mass air flow sensor (HFM) and/or intake air temperature sensor are stored in the fault memory of the CDI4/CDI5/CDI6 engine control unit.Note: Oil coating the clean ai
2、r line (Y-pipe) with integrated hot film mass air flow sensors does not cause signal drift and therefore does not generate fault entries related to the HFM.Faults concerning the hot film mass air flow sensor and intake air temperaturesensor are usually caused by the following faults in the vici comp
3、onents:of theLeakage:· at the raw air line upstream of the air filter· at the clean air line between the air filter and the turbocharger· in the charge air system (green seal ring between turbocharger and charge air line to noise damper,· seal rings at the connections between the
4、 charge air hoses and the Henn couplingsContact faults at electrical connections:at the hot film mass air flow sensor at the engine control unit··Note: To assist with our analysis of the fault, please notify us of all contact faults via your national headquarters (MPC), stating the chassis
