1、Unit 9 What does he look like? 新目標(biāo)( Go for it! )七年級(jí)英語(yǔ)下 一、說(shuō)教材及課標(biāo)要求 本課是GO for it!七年級(jí)下冊(cè)第9單元的Section A的第一節(jié),教材內(nèi)容圍繞著描述人的外貌特點(diǎn)來(lái)展開(kāi),讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)談?wù)撊说纳砀?、體重、發(fā)型等特點(diǎn)。這也是課標(biāo)中必須掌握和落實(shí)的一個(gè)話題。本課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容與學(xué)生的實(shí)際生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和認(rèn)知水平密切相關(guān),實(shí)用性很強(qiáng),易于引發(fā)學(xué)生運(yùn)用簡(jiǎn)單的英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際和交流。另外,本課時(shí)的新單詞雖然很實(shí)用但卻較多,學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)及使用單詞的過(guò)程中將會(huì)產(chǎn)生一些障礙。最后在教學(xué)過(guò)程中應(yīng)注意,任務(wù)的設(shè)置應(yīng)有明確的目的并具有可操作性,這樣才有利于提高實(shí)
2、際語(yǔ)言的運(yùn)用能力。根據(jù)新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提倡的任務(wù)型教學(xué),為了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的主動(dòng)和創(chuàng)新能力,在教學(xué)中我設(shè)計(jì)了多種形式的任務(wù),讓學(xué)生在老師的指導(dǎo)下,通過(guò)感知、體驗(yàn)、實(shí)踐、參與和合作等方式,實(shí)現(xiàn)任務(wù)的目標(biāo)感受成功。二、說(shuō)學(xué)情知識(shí)基礎(chǔ):經(jīng)過(guò)七年級(jí)上學(xué)期的學(xué)習(xí)大部分學(xué)生具備了初步用英語(yǔ)交際的能力,但少數(shù)學(xué)生對(duì)任務(wù)的完成仍有一定的難度,對(duì)此我采用超前預(yù)習(xí)法和“1+1”結(jié)對(duì)子法,指定一名好學(xué)生課前領(lǐng)讀單詞和句型,保證能上口,讀出來(lái)。思維能力:七年級(jí)學(xué)生有較強(qiáng)的記憶力和模仿能力,有待培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的知識(shí)擴(kuò)展和運(yùn)用的能力。潛能開(kāi)發(fā):學(xué)生在七年級(jí)上冊(cè)已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)關(guān)于“What does he like?”這一特殊疑問(wèn)句式,具有了學(xué)習(xí)
3、本單元知識(shí)的認(rèn)知前提,能自然地與本單元話題進(jìn)行銜接。談?wù)撊说耐獗硇蜗笫侨藗內(nèi)粘I钪杏龅降脑掝}。故學(xué)生喜于用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)此類(lèi)知識(shí)。三、說(shuō)教學(xué)目標(biāo) 1、知識(shí)目標(biāo): 1) 能記住描述人物外貌特征的詞匯 hair, long, short(1), straight, curly, blonde, brown(發(fā)型); tall, short(2), medium, height, of medium height(身高); thin, heavy, of medium build(體格) . 2) 會(huì)使用詢(xún)問(wèn)和描述人物外貌特征的句型。 a. What do you look like? Im short
4、 and I have curly hair. b. What do they look like? Theyre of medium height. c. What does he/she look like? He/She is tall/of medium height/short. He/She is thin/ of medium build/ heavy. He/she has long/short/blonde/brown/black/straight/curly hair.2、能力目標(biāo): 1)學(xué)會(huì)與人合作詢(xún)問(wèn)他人外表。2)學(xué)會(huì)關(guān)心他人,描述他人的身高,體重,發(fā)型等外貌特征。3)
5、學(xué)會(huì)自主學(xué)習(xí),優(yōu)秀生借助網(wǎng)絡(luò)擴(kuò)展描寫(xiě)人物外表的詞匯;學(xué)困生借助音標(biāo)和優(yōu)秀 生課前認(rèn)讀單詞并能開(kāi)口讀出來(lái)句型。3. 過(guò)程和方法目標(biāo) 1)學(xué)生通過(guò)看、聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、寫(xiě),掌握并使用描繪人的外貌的句型和詞匯。2)學(xué)生完成教材和老師設(shè)置的各項(xiàng)任務(wù),并使用這一課時(shí)的目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言獲取與分享信息,自由談?wù)撍说耐饷蔡卣鳌?4. 情感態(tài)度和價(jià)值觀目標(biāo) 1)通過(guò)課前“1+1幫扶合作”及課堂小組合 作,讓學(xué)生感受班集體的溫暖,并發(fā)自?xún)?nèi)心地?zé)釔?ài)班集體,對(duì)于學(xué)困生要學(xué)會(huì)感恩,用努力認(rèn)讀單詞和開(kāi)口讀順句子來(lái)回報(bào)優(yōu)秀生的辛勤幫助。對(duì)于優(yōu)秀生要培養(yǎng)他們德與智的和諧發(fā)展。2)通過(guò)描述身邊同學(xué)、朋友、教師、家人的外表,增加彼此之間的感情,
6、學(xué)會(huì)關(guān)心他人并培養(yǎng)人際交往能力,同時(shí)感受到語(yǔ)言使用的趣味性。3)教育和引導(dǎo)學(xué)生不能以貌取人。四、說(shuō)教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 重點(diǎn):1、掌握描述人物外表的詞匯: 1)short hair, long hair, curly hair, straight hair, black hair, blonde hair, brown hair-發(fā)型特征 2)tall, short, of medium height-身高特征 3)thin, heavy, of medium build-體重特征2、學(xué)會(huì)用“What do/does sb. look like?”句型來(lái)詢(xún)問(wèn)一個(gè)人的長(zhǎng)相。3、學(xué)會(huì)用“Sb. have/h
7、as(am/is/are) ”句型來(lái)描述一個(gè)人的長(zhǎng)相 。難點(diǎn):have/has與am/is/are的正確使用.五、說(shuō)教學(xué)方法與手段 教學(xué)方法:呈現(xiàn);歸納;討論等開(kāi)放型教學(xué)法,任務(wù)型教學(xué)法,情景交際法和課前“1+1幫扶”教學(xué)法教學(xué)手段:多媒體,圖片六、說(shuō)使用教材的構(gòu)想對(duì)于本課的單詞短語(yǔ)我設(shè)計(jì)通過(guò)卡片或圖畫(huà)來(lái)引出學(xué)習(xí)詞匯和內(nèi)容: 以相互描述自己的長(zhǎng)相特征,借助于課件及圖畫(huà)來(lái)引出What does he/she look like? 本課我以素質(zhì)教育為目的,結(jié)合教材的重難點(diǎn)及英語(yǔ)學(xué)科的特點(diǎn),采用任務(wù)型教學(xué),從聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)、練等方面使學(xué)生得到了鍛煉,在輕松、愉快的氛圍中溫故而知新,達(dá)到培養(yǎng)學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)
8、交際的目的。在課堂上我鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生大膽的使用英語(yǔ),對(duì)他們學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中的失誤和錯(cuò)誤采取寬容的態(tài)度。在板書(shū)設(shè)計(jì)上,為了避免學(xué)生把is和has混用,我采取了分開(kāi)總結(jié)排版的格式,讓學(xué)生能一目了然,描述什么該用什么詞語(yǔ)。同時(shí),人的外貌對(duì)人的影響是很大的,所以常常有人犯以貌取人的錯(cuò)誤。那么我們老師就應(yīng)該對(duì)他們進(jìn)行正確的引導(dǎo),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生正確的人生觀和世界觀。在選圖時(shí),我就側(cè)重強(qiáng)調(diào)人物雖然有美丑,但是他們卻都有自己的特長(zhǎng),都能在各自的領(lǐng)域成就一翻事業(yè),讓學(xué)生明白人不可貌相。同時(shí)在課末我增添諺語(yǔ),再次強(qiáng)調(diào)人的外貌在人生中不是最重要的因素,能力才是最重要的。七、說(shuō)教學(xué)流程 Step 1:Lead-in Show a pi
9、cture of Yao Ming to the ss. Ask the ss :Do you know who he is? Do you like him? Can you tell me something about Yao Ming? What does he look like? Can you describe?Lead in todays topic.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:1、 新知識(shí)呈現(xiàn):上課開(kāi)始,我讓學(xué)生猜猜看他是誰(shuí): “姚明” 然后呈現(xiàn)圖像教授句型“What does she/he look like ? He/She is tall.”同一方法教授本課的新單詞。并不時(shí)的以班上學(xué)生為
10、例造句,加深學(xué)生印象。 Step 2: Presentation 1. Show pictures to present one type of describing peoples looks ( tall /short/of medium height) T and Ss:tall-Yao Ming is tall.-What does Yao Ming look like? He is tall. Short-Pan Changjiang is short.-What does Pan Changjiang look like? He is short. of medium height

Explain the difference between“is” and “have/has” 4.Get Ss to drill the sentences according to the chart.(提高學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:第一遍聽(tīng)錄音,在圖中找到相關(guān)人物,學(xué)生說(shuō)答案,再聽(tīng)錄音以幫助學(xué)生訂正,鞏固,最后讓學(xué)生根據(jù)錄音復(fù)述所聽(tīng)內(nèi)容。聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練既是對(duì)知識(shí)的鞏固,也為下一步的任務(wù)輸出提供了輸入材料。 Step 5: Practice 1. Read together. 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)Pairwork這個(gè)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生編寫(xiě)對(duì)話并熟練描述別人的外貌特征,并能根據(jù)別人的描述指出他或她是誰(shuí)。Step 7: Lets play games! 通過(guò)教師的描述,學(xué)生邊聽(tīng)邊畫(huà),看哪位學(xué)生畫(huà)的最符合教師的描述。 Teacher: Id like you to draw some pictur

Then ask them to report the result they talk about and ask other ss to guess who he/she is. 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:合作學(xué)習(xí)能達(dá)到不同程度的學(xué)生均能參與到課堂,杜絕兩級(jí)分化。Step 9: Summary 1. 23、 people by appearance 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生來(lái)做課堂小結(jié),突出學(xué)習(xí)的主體地位;教師作綜合陳述,猶如給學(xué)生一顆定心丸,給學(xué)生增添了信心。Step 10: HomeworkRemember new words .Have you ever noticed your parents ? Please write a passage to describe your father or mother.(At least 50 words)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:學(xué)生配上簡(jiǎn)單的圖畫(huà)并以手抄報(bào)形式交流,不僅能進(jìn)一步鞏固新知識(shí),而且能提高綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。八、說(shuō)教學(xué)課時(shí)達(dá)標(biāo)練習(xí)(一)、根據(jù)句意及首字母提示
