(Adverbial)Step 3 Understanding and summarizing a. 過(guò)去分詞短語(yǔ)做狀語(yǔ)可以表示時(shí)間,原因,條件,讓步,方式或伴隨等,它的邏輯主語(yǔ)通常是句子的主語(yǔ),過(guò)去分詞與主語(yǔ)之間是動(dòng)賓關(guān)系,即被動(dòng)關(guān)系。1. 作時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)過(guò)去分詞做時(shí)間狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于一個(gè)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。Once published, the dictionary will be very popular. 9、ed)2. 作原因狀語(yǔ)過(guò)去分詞做原因狀語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于一個(gè)原因狀語(yǔ)從句。Lost in thought, I didnt notice what was happening out. 11、一般來(lái)說(shuō),過(guò)去分詞作定語(yǔ)時(shí)含有“完成”和“被動(dòng)”的雙重意義。Eg: boiled water (開水); fallen leaves(落葉); risen sun(升起的太陽(yáng))My parents are both retired teachers.2. 單個(gè)的過(guò)去分詞時(shí),一般放在被修飾詞之前,也可以后置。Eg: spoken English(英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)) iced beer(冰鎮(zhèn)啤酒) Hurry up, there is only a little time left.3. 過(guò)去分詞表示的動(dòng)作通常發(fā)生在位于動(dòng)詞之前或表示與句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞相應(yīng)的經(jīng)常性動(dòng)作。He is a teacher lov
