1、Module 2 Great booksUnit 2 Its still read and loved.課型 :讀寫課一、學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)知識(shí)目標(biāo):1. 掌握13個(gè)詞匯(behavior, cave, freedom, funeral, social, theme, treasure, clever, dead, pleased, alive, southern, state)和3個(gè)詞組(run away, grow up, talk about), 理解1個(gè)詞匯和1個(gè)詞組(outsider, for a time)。2理解一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語態(tài),在大量的語言輸入中感知一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語態(tài)be + do

2、ne (by )的構(gòu)成。3通過詞匯、句式的學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)一步熟悉名著推介的話題。技能目標(biāo):1. 聽:能夠聽懂關(guān)于湯姆·索亞歷險(xiǎn)記名著推介的文章,能將段落大意與段落進(jìn)行匹配。2. 說:能夠預(yù)測文章內(nèi)容,能夠基本運(yùn)用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語態(tài)簡單介紹最喜愛的書目。3讀:能夠讀懂介紹名著的文章,能找出段落的主旨句,理解文章段落大意和文章結(jié)構(gòu)。通過閱讀能夠提取、歸納信息。4寫:能夠模仿課文結(jié)構(gòu)和句式,描述最喜歡的一本書。教學(xué)過程(一)課前導(dǎo)入: Activity 1 的1、2題是對Unit 1的復(fù)習(xí),先解決這兩道題,這樣即可以達(dá)到對上一單元對話內(nèi)容的回顧,也由此引出The Adventures of To

3、m Sawyer.將書名呈現(xiàn)在黑板上,學(xué)生上節(jié)課的作業(yè)中有一個(gè)預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)是查找馬克·吐溫的主要作品,這里將學(xué)生們的作業(yè)做一個(gè)反饋,學(xué)生交流他們查找的結(jié)果。然后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生判斷這部小說的類別, “What kind of novel is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?”答案是 “Adventure story.”這一部分可根據(jù)學(xué)生的實(shí)際情況增加書的類別介紹并給出例子,如:love story: Romeo and Juliet, tragedy: King Lear, comedy: Merchant of Venice,histories: Henry VII

Can you guess what is

5、happening?”并回答Activity 1中的3、4題, 這樣做的目的是借助圖片這種非語言信息進(jìn)行理解和表達(dá),也使學(xué)生的思維活躍起來。2、閱讀中(While-reading):這是課文教學(xué)的重要部分,采取總分總的方法,先整體感知,再捕捉細(xì)節(jié)信息,分析課文,最后整體歸納的方法??偅耗x,再次感知課文默讀,欣賞文章:為了很好地感受、體驗(yàn)進(jìn)而能夠欣賞文章,實(shí)現(xiàn)技能目標(biāo)中“讀”的第一個(gè)目標(biāo):通過閱讀學(xué)會(huì)欣賞文章,我們采用默讀的方式讓學(xué)生瀏覽文章,并回答Activity 4 中的第四題,“Which of the scenes in the article do you like best?”鼓勵(lì)

6、學(xué)生自己的見解,時(shí)間控制在2-3分鐘之內(nèi)。分:分析課文,捕捉細(xì)節(jié)信息1)朗讀課文,完成問題:這里學(xué)生帶著Activity4中的前三個(gè)問題 “What kind of boy is Tom?” “Why do you think Tom wants to go to his own funeral?” “Why do you think people still read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?”大聲朗讀,閱讀后回答問題并核對答案,允許不同答案的存在,如第2、3小題,這樣做是為了實(shí)現(xiàn)對文章細(xì)節(jié)的把握,捕捉文章的具體信息。2)分析并復(fù)述課文。在此將Activit

Why or why no

14、t?”。并在此問題基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)一步討論:“What do you think makes a great book?” 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從文章的構(gòu)成要素方面進(jìn)行考慮,即剛剛分析到的故事情節(jié)、人物、場景等,這里實(shí)現(xiàn)了技能目標(biāo)“讀”中關(guān)于理解文章段落大意和文章結(jié)構(gòu)的目標(biāo)。4小組討論。將Activity 6 和Activity 7&8作為語言的輸出環(huán)節(jié),按照思考-討論-寫作的順序進(jìn)行。在本環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生按Activity 3 的表格項(xiàng)目思考自己喜歡的書,并就要點(diǎn)在4人小組中交流和討論,在交流和討論中,發(fā)現(xiàn)并改正自己的語言中出現(xiàn)的問題,為下一步的模仿寫作奠定基礎(chǔ)。四、寫作練習(xí)根據(jù)表格提示,介紹你最喜歡的一本
