I wish to express, on behalf of the Chinese Government, deep sympathy to the affected people, and sincerely hope they will overcome difficulty a

5、nd rebuild homes at an early time.今年是中國農(nóng)歷龍年， 是繁榮和興旺的年份。 澳大利亞各界十分關(guān)心中國的發(fā)展會給澳 大利亞帶來什么。我可以肯定地說，是機(jī)遇。This year is the Year of the Dragon, a year of prosperity and success.The Australian public are very interested in what China s development will bring to Australia.I would definitely say it is opportunity.

11、niversary of their diplomatic relations.What are the inspirations we get from 40 years of company?首先， 中澳友好合作是雙贏。 40 年來， 兩國貿(mào)易額增長一千倍， 由 1 億美元增加到 1000 億美元。兩國經(jīng)濟(jì)高度互補(bǔ)，中國是澳最大貿(mào)易伙伴、出口市場和進(jìn)口來源地。First, friendly cooperation between China and Australia is a win-win situation.Over 40 years, volume of two-way trade

12、 jumped from 100 million to 100 billion dollars, an increase of 1000 times.Our two economies are highly complementary, and China becomes Australia s largest tradingpartner, export market and source of imports.其次， 要增進(jìn)人與人之間的、 全社會的、 全領(lǐng)域的交流。 互往才能相知， 相知才能認(rèn)知。近年來， 兩國人文交流蓬勃開展。 中國是澳最大的留學(xué)生來源國和增長最快的海外游客市場，每年人員

13、往來超過百萬。Second, it is important to enhance exchanges between our peoples, in all areas and across the society.Only through exchanges can we know each other, and only by knowing each other can we have mutual understanding.In recent years, people-to-people exchanges between China and Australia have gro

14、wn strongly.China is Australia s largest source of international students and fastest-growing tourism market.More than a million visitors travel to and fro every year.第三，保障中澳合作的長遠(yuǎn)發(fā)展，要形成全社會、跨黨派的共識。議會、議員可以為此做很多事。近年來，中澳高層交往頻繁，兩國議會多層次、寬領(lǐng)域的交流和合作十分活躍。議會交往成為兩國人民增進(jìn)了解的平臺、推動互利合作的紐帶和傳承友誼的橋梁。Third, to secure lo

15、ng term development of China-Australia relations, we need to foster all-society and cross-party consensus.Parliament and parliamentarians can play an important role in this respect.In recent years, high level visits between our two countries were frequent, and our two parliaments carried out multi-l

16、evel and broad ranging exchanges and cooperation.Inter-parliamentary links have become a platform of better understanding between our peoples, connections that facilitate mutually beneficial cooperation and a bridge that passes on friendship.我們的結(jié)論是： 世界挑戰(zhàn)此起彼伏， 經(jīng)濟(jì)復(fù)蘇任重道遠(yuǎn)， 中澳更要攜手合作、 同舟共濟(jì)， 為兩國人民，為地區(qū)和世界和平、穩(wěn)定與發(fā)展多謀福祉。Our conclusion is, as the world faces various challenges and a global recovery still
