可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式規(guī)則變化②以輔音字母+y結(jié)尾的變y為i加es例：city-citiesstory-storieslady-ladiescountry-countries注：以元音字母+y結(jié)尾的直接加s例：day-daysboy-boys③以s,x,ch,sh結(jié)尾的加es例:glass-glassesfox-foxesbench-benchesbrush-brushes

④以o結(jié)尾的名詞有生命的加es例：Negro-Negroeshero-heroestomato-tomatoespotato-potatoes無生命的加s例：photo-photosradio-radios

⑤以f/fe結(jié)尾的變f/fe為v加es例：thief-thieveswife-wivesleaf-leavesknife-kniveswolf-wolveshalf-halvesshelf-shelveslife-livesself-selves口訣：妻子持刀去宰狼，小偷嚇得發(fā)了慌；

躲在架后保己命，半片樹葉遮目光。

注：特殊的以f/fe結(jié)尾的加s例：gulfroofchiefbeliefproofhandkerchief口訣：海灣邊，屋頂上，首領(lǐng)農(nóng)奴相望；
