初中生英語學(xué)習(xí)動機(jī)的現(xiàn)狀與促進(jìn)方法的研究Abstract:
WiththeincreasingemphasisonEnglishasagloballanguage,Englishlearninghasbecomeanecessityformanystudentsinmiddleschool.However,somestudentslackmotivationandfailtoachievesatisfactoryresults.ThispaperstudiesthecurrentsituationofEnglishlearningmotivationamongmiddleschoolstudentsandproposessomeeffectivemethodstopromotetheirlearningmotivation,whichcanhelpthemachievebetteracademicperformance.

Introduction:
Englishisagloballanguagethatisincreasinglyimportantintoday'sworld.ChinesemiddleschoolstudentsarerequiredtolearnEnglishasoneoftheircompulsorycourses,butmanyofthemlackmotivationintheirEnglishlearning.Thereasonsforthislackofmotivationarevarious,suchaslackofinterestorconfidence,fearoffailureandsoon.Inthispaper,wewillexplorethecurrentstatusofEnglishlearningmotivationamongmiddleschoolstudentsandsomeeffectivemethodstopromotetheirlearningmotivation,includingpersonalizedlearning,positivefeedback,competitionsandextracurricularactivities.
Currentsituation:
1.Lackofinterestandconfidence:SomestudentsarenotinterestedinEnglishbecausetheycannotseethepracticalapplicationofthelanguageintheirdailylives.TheyfeelthatlearningEnglishisawasteoftimeandresources.Moreover,somestudentssufferfromthelackofconfidence,whichmakesthemhesitanttoparticipateinclassroomactivitiesorspeakEnglishinpublic.
2.Fearoffailure:Somestudentsareafraidoffailureandhesitatetotakerisks,whichleadstopassivelearningandalackofmotivation.TheyaremorefocusedonavoidingmistakesandlosingfaceratherthantakingtheinitiativetolearnandimprovetheirEnglishskills.
Methodsofpromotingmotivation:
1.Personalizedlearning:Personalizedlearningisaneffectivewaytomeettheindividualneedsofstudents.Intheprocessofteaching,teacherscanprovidetargetedteachingaccordingtothelearningcharacteristicsandneedsofstudents,suchasadjustingthedifficultyandcontentofteachingmaterialsandprovidingmorepracticalandinterestingEnglishlearningresources.
