ThenonedayIwatchedanEnglishmoviecalledToyStory.Ifellinlovewiththisexcitingandfunnymovie!SoIbegantowatchotherEnglishmovies,too.AlthoughIcouldnotunderstandeverythingthecharacterssaid,theirbodylanguageandtheexpressionsontheirfaceshelpedmetogetthemeaning.IalsorealizedIcouldgetthemeaningbylisteningforjustthekeywords.MypronunciationimprovedaswellbylisteningtotheconversationsinEnglishmovies.Idiscoveredthatlisteningtosomethinginterestingisthesecrettolanguagelearning.Ialsolearnedusefulsentenceslike“It’sapieceofcake”or“Itservesyouright”.Ididnotunderstandthesesentencesatfirst.ButbecauseIwantedtounderstandthestory,Ilookedthemupinadictionary.

NowIreallyenjoymyEnglishclass.IwanttolearnnewwordsandmoregrammarsothatIcanhaveabetterunderstandingofEnglishmovies.

ChinesepeoplehavebeencelebratingtheMid-AutumnFestivalandenjoyingmooncakesforcenturies.MooncakesareintheshapeofafullmoonontheMid-Autumnnight.Theycarrypeople’swishestothefamiliestheyloveandmiss.
