還記得我生命中最開心的時刻，那時我住在意大利的佛羅倫薩，決定為我的意大利朋友舉辦一個派對。我清楚地記得要辦派對，朋友并不懂英語，我打算只說意大利語。然后，有人叫我講個笑話。我不知道你曉不曉得，用其他語言講笑話，可以想象是一件很折磨人的事。

我開始講我的笑話，C’eraunavolta（意大利語：很久以前）……

講到一半時，我開始驚慌失措了，到笑點時，我不知道如何用意大利語表達了，30位意大利人都緊緊地瞪著我，等我把笑話講完。

最后，我想起來了，接著講完了那個笑話。我等著他們倒喝彩，然而他們卻給了我雷鳴般的掌聲和笑聲。我曾經在這個國家，用他們的語言講了幾十個意大利文笑話

直到現(xiàn)在，我仍就覺得這是我經歷過的最開心的事。原因是，在最后的四年里，我學習了很多種語言，現(xiàn)在我可以講五種語言：英語，意大利語，西班牙語，葡萄牙語，德語。

雙語能力的益處多多

雙語能力為你敞開了一個全新世界，不同人的世界，不同文化的世界，不同情感的世界。

第二語言的習得能提高認知能力。比如說，研究表明，學習一門新語言可延緩老年癡呆癥，提高智力，降低認知偏差，甚至改善你的注意力，降低分散注意力。通過學習一門新語言，你可以養(yǎng)成更好的習慣

而且，不僅是認知方面的益處多多，能講第二種語言也有很多社會好處。你能用本土語言跟服務員點餐，在電梯里偷聽別人講話，通過和母語者交流并理解他們，能給他們留下印象，這些簡直就是天賜洪福。

學習第二語言最棒的是讓你覺得學習第三，第四，第五種語言變得更容易。你面臨的挑戰(zhàn)不是學習一種新的語言，而是學會如何去學好它。只要你懂得其中的技巧，你就能在每次學習一門新語言時運用這些相同的語法規(guī)律和語言技巧。正因為這樣，我只花了三個月左右的時間掌握了意大利語，而只花了兩個月學會西班牙語，只用了幾周的時間就學會了葡萄牙語。

為什么大部分人的語言學習方法都不正確。

我在中學時學了幾年的西班牙語，甚至在國考時獲得了好成績，但直到有一天，我嘗試開口講西班牙語時，突然意識到了什么。

在學校學了四年的西班牙語，我竟然不懂訂一份玉米煎餅如何表達。

到底哪錯了呢？經過官方標準化測試得知，我是精通西班牙語的，但是，我竟連最基本的表達都不會。

事實是，我們沒用理想的教學方法教語言。學生在龐大的集體里學習語言，認為做幾次作業(yè)和語法練習就夠了。

所以幾乎沒有一個人能真正懂講。

事實上，做作業(yè)，只是為了作業(yè)而做作業(yè)。如果你想學會講，那好，你真的要練習口語。

所以當人們看著書或面對著羅賽達石來練口語，我想告訴他們，他們是不會成功的。你若想講出來，必須得練口語，而若你想快速地講，那好，你要開始大量練習口語。

快速學語言的基本策略

學習語言令人生畏，我打算大概地總結一些基本地策略，然后再做具體分析。

以下分幾類，稍后我們會進一步深入理解每個環(huán)節(jié)的內容。

1、獲取正確的學習資源：語法書，記憶軟件，電影/書

2、聘請私人家教。至少教你一個月，我建議一天四小時

3、嘗試著用新語言去表達和思考。每次你不記得單詞時，把它輸入你的記憶軟件中，每天練習詞匯記憶

4、找些朋友，語言學習伙伴，和其他說這門語言的人。只要你能和你的私人家教進行基本的對話，你就需要找一位伙伴。若你還沒有，思考一下能否搬去講這種語言的國家?？紤]一下班級也可以。不斷練習，不要講母語。

這是基本的學習策略。然而這條策略要求很高，因為在三個月內學會一門語言是一項很艱巨的任務。如果你喜歡慢慢地來，或者你無法搬去一個新的國家，那就每天訓練4-8個小時，然后再根據情況修改計劃。每天堅持練習極其重要，然而------每天練習20分鐘比每周只練習兩次好得多。

語言學習資料

你需要些項目來練習，這是我經常使用的資源。

必要的資源

一本語法書。這對學習語言必不可少。我推薦Dover基本語法系列：這些書很便宜，簡明扼要，要點齊全。我住在意大利的時候，Dover版意大利語基本語法書是我的指導用書，我去到哪都讀它，與它同榻，甚至把背了出來。

一本短語書：這就像一本字典，但是，是一本短語字典。你可以開始記些完整的句型和短語，自然就學會了個別的單詞。我會馬上講到更多關于記憶技巧方面的內容。

在線詞典。鑒于大部分的羅曼語，我向你推薦網址，學習德語的話，我推薦http://dict.cc.GoogleTranslate，這個網址的內容很有用，但你會很容易依賴它，要謹慎使用。

一款記憶應用程序。記憶單詞是必須的，我總是把單詞放在我的應用軟件里。每晚我都練習背單詞。

如果你在Mac上，登錄你的應用程序Genius。這個天才應用程序（雙關意義的）應用時間間隔技術測試知識。它會對你想學的單詞或短語進行隨機測試，對你經常犯的錯誤進行測試。我建議你把英語放在左欄，你想學的語言放在右欄，這樣就可以學會用新語言口頭表達，而不是單純地翻譯意思。若你登錄了個人計算機，你就聽說過記憶軟件Anki的好處。

學習資源

一名私人家教。我強烈建議你從克雷格列表網站或附近的語言學校聘請一位親自教你的私人家教。然而，如果你在你那地方找不到人或是聘請費用太昂貴，可以登錄E。Edufire是一個你能找到網上家教或在網上集體上課的網站。而且，記住哦，私人授課尤為重要，所以你可以放棄集體上課的形式。

免費的語言學習伙伴和家教。Mixxer給你提供極好的資源。這是一個你可以通過Skype網絡連通全球的語言學習伙伴的站點，只需選擇你的母語和你想學的語言就行，而Mixxer會幫你找到對應的搭檔（這個搭檔會講你的目的語，而且想學你的母語）。

剛開始，網上對話搭檔會幫助你很多，為什么呢？首先，因為聊天比口頭表達容易得多，所以你有機會練習語言表達。第二，有聊天記錄，可以讓你的搭檔容易幫你糾正錯誤。

我用C和M這兩個網站找到了語言學習的搭檔和學習小組，不管我住在哪，只要登錄Benny’sarticle，就能通過Couchsurfing找到我的搭檔

我記不得羅塞塔石碑，記得超慢，記一級水平的單詞花了我1-2個月，而只能熟悉現(xiàn)在時態(tài)，不能好好充分利用時間。

另外，羅皮姆斯羅磁帶，也有很大幫助，能幫助你在情景對話下練習發(fā)音。然而，學習速度還是很慢。為了測試這種情況，我開始用德國羅皮姆斯羅磁帶訓練兩周時間，才上德語課。我練了一半的磁帶后，感覺進步了好多，直到我在一個真人老師的幫助下，在不到兩天的時間里，就掌握了知識。

學習一門語言的90天計劃

只用九十天就達到流利的水平是可以的，或者至少能處于一種很好的口語表達水平，但是需要高度的集中注意力。思想上發(fā)生的巨大轉變是，必須改變自己的觀點，摒棄‘Maneesh博客想學習意大利語’到‘成為意大利語學習者’的思想（Maneesh在他的博客里發(fā)表）。

若你沒有自由的時間集中全部精力學習一門語言，那好，這個過程會比90天還要長，但要確保你每天都保持練習，否則你會很快忘記你的知識。

30天內的學習計劃

最開始的30天是學好一門新語言的關鍵。你必須盡可能投入全部的精力。

若你想在90天內學好一門語言，我強烈地建議搬到你所學語言的國家去。這能幫助你全身心感受語言學習的心態(tài)，讓你置身于新語言的學習環(huán)境中。若你能搬到一個新國家去，嘗試著跟一個熱情好客的家庭住在一起。與款待自己的人家同臺吃飯可以學到很多東西。

無論如何，第一個月內，要一對一的家教學習，而不是集體學習。集體上課會讓你怠惰，而家教老師卻只關注你一個人的學習。

重要的是，你必須積極主動地去學。大部分人只想被別人灌輸知識，但是你必須積極主動地向老師提問題。最好就是通過看視頻理解學習的過程，我制作的部分視頻補充了這篇文章的內容，其中包括我在學習瑞典語時上的一堂示范課，以及在接受私人培訓期間我所提問題的解釋

你會遇到很多新單詞和短語，這些在家教的幫助下，進行自我練習，并把它們輸入你的記憶軟件。

開始時，你想每天記30個單詞和短語，為什么是30個呢？因為90天內，你要學會這門語言的80%。

如你所知，你需要學習大約3000個單詞，才能達到80%的水平…

這3000個單詞大概已足夠，你就可以開始通過語境更容易學習單詞。每天30個單詞，90天內你會學到近3000個單詞。

用記憶法來幫助記單詞

31-60天內的學習計劃

一個月后，你盡可能集中接觸所學的語言。經過一個月的家教培訓后，你會進行基本的對話了。

若你的家教收費昂貴，你可以考慮參加高級班，在這點上可以節(jié)省你的錢，讓你有機會接觸其他學習這門語言的朋友。不過要小心謹慎，不要只用英語表達。嘗試著盡可能習慣地用新語言表達。若可以的話，繼續(xù)聘用你的家教。

若可能的話，找一個男朋友或女朋友是講母語的本地人。當你通過和講母語的人約會學習一門語言時，學習會變得更容易。曾經我碰到一個俄語講得很流利的人，當我問他花了多長時間學習俄語時，他回答，“向我的兩個妻子學的?！蔽医o你最好的建議是找到關鍵的人，這是我的意大利朋友告訴我的：‘Couchsurfing不是一個約會的場所…但是它能幫到你.”

現(xiàn)在，是時候開始尋找學習伙伴了。登錄上述的學習資源區(qū)，使用Mixxer和Couchsurfing找到講你所學的語言的人。每天花幾個小時努力練習講，這樣的話，因為你掌握了基本的語言知識，你基本上能與些新的朋友進行社會交流，不要把它當做一項繁雜的日常工作。

試著看些簡單的用目的語寫的書，在新單詞下劃線，并把這些單詞輸進你的記憶應用軟件里。

你應該用新語言的思維思考問題。每次你想表達想法的時候，而又沒記住單詞，就把單詞寫進你的記憶軟件里，堅持每天學習30個單詞和短語。

61-90天內的學習計劃。

到60天的時候，你對口語表達應該能運用自如了，你只需要保持練習就可以。與你的學習伙伴進行更具深度的對話交流，嘗試一下盡可能與他們出去。我甚至發(fā)現(xiàn)，適量的酒精明顯有助于語言練習。

堅持每天學習30個單詞，堅持練習那些你學過的單詞，你會達到3000單詞的學習要求，對于能流利地講一門語言已經足夠了。.

現(xiàn)在，你要開始用目的語看電視看書。借些外語的DVD，試著跟學。如果需要的話，看著字幕練習。如果不行的話，不著急，因為看懂電影比進行一對一談話難得多。

堅持每天花幾個小時學習語言，等到月末，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)你已經很好地掌握了這門語言，只用了90天的高度集中學習，你就實現(xiàn)了你想做的是，是件很棒很美的事。
