1.Overview

Youdefineshippingconditionsinthisstep.Youentertheshippingconditionsdefinedhereinthecustomermasterrecordinthesalesdataforeachsalesarea.TheSAPsystemcopiestheshippingconditionintothesalesdocumentheader.

Youcanalsodetermineashippingconditionforeachsalesdocumenttype.Thisshippingconditionisthenusedfordeterminingtheshippingpointinthesalesdocumentinsteadofwhatisspecifiedinthecustomermasterrecord(seethechapter"Determineshippingconditionbysalesdocumenttype").

ShippingpointdeterminationcanonlybecarriedoutbytheSAPsystemifashippingconditioniscontainedinthesalesdocument.

Sincetheshippingpointisarequirementforcreatingadelivery,marktheshippingconditioninthecustomermasterrecordasarequiredentrytomakesurethattheshippingconditionisenteredandcanbecopiedtoasalesdocument.Formoreinformationonhowtomarkfieldsinthecustomermasterrecordasrequired,seethechapter"Defineaccountgroupsandfieldselectionforcustomers".

Ifyoudonotmakeadistinctionbetweenthedifferentshippingconditionsinyourcompany,youshouldworkwithastandardshippingcondition,forexample"01",whichisspecifiedinallcustomermasterrecords.

Thespecificationofashippingconditionforeachsalesdocumenttypeoverrulesthespecificationinthecustomermasterrecord(seethesection"Defineshippingconditions").

Thesalesdocumenttypesmustbedefinedbeforeallocationtakesplace.Thedefinedsalesdocumenttypesareautomaticallydisplayedformaintenance.

Youdefinetheloadinggroupsinthismenuoption.Youentertheloadinggroupsdefinedhereinthematerialmasterrecordforthesalesdataforeachplant.

TheshippingpointdeterminationcanonlybecarriedoutbytheSAPSystemifaloadingpointiscontainedinthematerialmasterrecord.Sincetheshippingpointisarequirementforthecreationofadelivery,youshouldmarktheloadingpointinthematerialmasterrecordasarequiredentrytoensurethattheloadinggroupisenteredandcanbecopiedintoasalesdocument.Formoreinformationonhowmarkfieldsinthematerialmasterrecordasmandatoryseethesection"DefineMaterialtypes".

Ifyoudonotdistinguishbetweendifferentloadinggroupsinyourcompany,youshouldworkwithastandardloadinggroup,forexample,"0001"whichmustbespecifiedinallmaterialmasterrecords.

Youcanallocateamodeoftransporttotheroutesforprocessingexporttransactions.Youwillfindinformationonthissubjectinthesection"Definecustomsofficesandmodesoftransport".

Foreveryroute,youcanspecifyafactorycalendarwhichcanthenbetakenintoaccountfordeliveryscheduling(seesection"Scheduling").
