footprint.Theprimaryfootprintisameasureofourdirectemissions(排放)ofcarbon

dioxide(CO2)fromtheburningoffuels,includinghouseholdenergyconsumptionand

transportation.ThesecondaryfootprintisameasureoftheindirectCO2emissionsfromthe

wholelifecycleofproductsweuse﹣thoserelatedtotheirproductionandbreakdown.

Basedonthisunderstanding,wehaveagooddealofcontrolandresponsibilityoverour

carbonfootprint.Thingslikedishes,clothesandfurniturefallintothe"secondaryfootprint"
