tobeasuccess.Thesisterpublishedthesonginacollectionentitled“SongStories
oftheKindergarten”in1893.Thirty-oneyearslater,afterDr.PattyHillbecame
theheadoftheDepartmentofKindergartenEducationatColumbiaUniversity's
TeachersCollege,agentlemanbythenameRobertColemanpublishedthesong,without
thesisters'permission.Headdedasecondpart,whichisthefamiliar“Happy
