課標分析1.高中英語教學應該特別關注學生使用英語的“得體性”。所謂得體地使用語言,就是根據(jù)交際的場合和交際對象的身份等具體情況,選擇和使用適當?shù)恼Z言,比如根據(jù)交際場合選擇正式或非正式語言,根據(jù)交際對象的身份,選擇較為直接或委婉的語言。英漢兩種語言在得體性方面存在差異。在漢語中比較得體的表達法如果直接套用到英語中,可能有些不得體。反之亦然。2.高中英語教學無論是在選擇語言素材方面,還是在設計課堂教學活動方面,都要信息的獲取與處理。也就是說,所有的學習材料和學習活動,要使學生能夠從中獲得一些他們尚不具有的信息,而且還要使學生獲得信息之后以某種方式進行處理和傳遞。如果兩個學生做對話練習時,已經(jīng)知道彼此要說的話,那么這個活動就不涉及獲得信息和處理信息的過程,也就沒有實際的交際意義(表演短劇等活動除外)。如果給學生一篇短文,讓他們改寫短文并把其中的主動語態(tài)變?yōu)楸粍诱Z態(tài),那么這個活動也沒有獲得信息、處理信息的過程。我們并不是說,不涉及到獲得信息、處理信息的教學活動都是無意義的活動。但是,高中階段應盡可能給學生提供用英語獲取信息、處理信息的語言實踐機會。3.高中英語教學應特別注重培養(yǎng)學生分析問題和解決問題的能力,并通過分析問題、解決問題來發(fā)展批評性思維能力。語言與思維關系密切。可以說語言是思維的工具。盡管不同的語言存在某些共性,但也存在很多差異。學習不同的語言可以為我們提供不同的思維方式。有些概念或思想在漢語里很難找到適當?shù)恼Z言來表達,而在英語里可能有現(xiàn)成的表達法。反之亦然。其實,這就是語言既是思維的工具又約束思維的一個例子。高中生學習英語的目的之一就是開拓思維方式,提高思維能力。因此,高中英語教學活動要有利于學生對自己或他人的生活經(jīng)驗、思想觀點、自然或社會現(xiàn)象等進行分析和判斷,要有利于學生在學習過程中發(fā)現(xiàn)問題、分析問題、解決問題。4.高中階段在聽、說、讀、寫四項語言技能中,不能簡單地說“繼續(xù)培養(yǎng)聽說能力、側重培養(yǎng)讀寫能力”。首先,盡管有些微技能可以單獨訓練,聽、說、讀、寫這四種技能并不是孤立的。在多數(shù)情況下,兩種或多種技能綜合運用才能實現(xiàn)真正的交際。其次,不同的學習活動對四種技能的要求不同。有些活動(如協(xié)商、討論)對聽說技能的要求高一些,有些活動(如查找信息、報告結果)對讀寫技能的要求高一些。第三,應該允許學生根據(jù)自己的學習興趣和潛能,優(yōu)先或側重發(fā)展某些技能。不能過分追求各種技能的平衡發(fā)展。七、關于高中英語課程的教學方式為了體現(xiàn)《基礎教育課程改革綱要》(以下簡稱《綱要》)關于改變教學方式與方法的課改要求,《標準》特別強調,高中英語課程應有利于學生優(yōu)化學習方式,提高自主學習能力?!稑藴省分赋?“高中英語課程的設計與實施要有利于學生優(yōu)化英語學習方式,使他們通過觀察、體驗、探究等積極主動的學習方法,充分發(fā)揮自己的學習潛能,形成有效的學習策略,提高自主學習的能力;要有利于學生學會運用多種媒體和信息資源,拓寬學習渠道,形成具有個性的學習方法和風格”。在課程實施過程中,“高中英語教學要鼓勵學生通過積極嘗試、自我探究、自我發(fā)現(xiàn)和主動實踐等學習方式,形成具有高中生特點的英語學習的過程與方法”。改變教師的教學方式的一個重要舉措是,從以教師為中心的教學方式向以學生為中心的教學方式轉變;從傳授知識的教學方式向探究知識、發(fā)展能力的教學方式轉變。因此,根據(jù)高中英語學科的特點,教師要鼓勵學生通過體驗、實踐、討論、合作和探究等方式,發(fā)展聽、說、讀、寫的綜合語言技能,要創(chuàng)造條件讓學生能夠探究他們自己感興趣的問題并自主解決問題,要特別強調讓學生在人際交往中得體地使用英語。具體地講,高中英語新課程的教學方式與方法應該具有以下特點:1.多數(shù)課堂活動以學生為主體,而不是以教師為主體;2.多數(shù)時間里,不是教師講解、學生傾聽的過程,而是教師與學生之間、學生與學生之間的互動過程;3.教師不是直截了當?shù)匕阎R告訴學生,而是引導學生自己去發(fā)現(xiàn)知識;4.學生不是機械地記憶知識,而是運用所學英語語言知識去做一些具體的事情;5.學生不是整齊劃一地按教師的要求做同樣的事情,而是根據(jù)自己的學習需要、按自己的學習方式實現(xiàn)學習目標。本節(jié)課目標:Knowledgeandskills1.Mastersomenewwordsfromcontextandbackground.
