Warm-upActivity(5minutes)

Toactivatestudents’priorknowledgeoffamilymembers,askthemtostandupandformabigcircle.Instructthemtothrowaballtoeachotherandwhensomeonecatchestheball,theyshouldsayafamilymember’sname.Thiswillcontinueuntileveryfamilymemberismentioned.

Askstudentstolistentothestorycarefullyandidentifythesequenceofevents.

Playtheaudiorecordingtwice.

Dividestudentsintopairs,andaskthemtoanswerthecomprehensionquestionsontheactivitysheet.

Aftercompletingtheactivitysheets,askstudentstosharetheiranswerswiththeclasstocheckforunderstanding.
