PilotlessThisisyourgroundpilotAutonomouscivilaircraftcouldbeflyingbeforecarsgoWithinthenextfewweeksatwin-enginedJetstreamwilltakeofffromWartonAerodromeinLancashire,England,andheadnorthtowardsScotland. Likeanyotherflight,thesmallcommuterairlinerwillrespondtoinstructionsfromair-trafficcontrollers,navigateapathandtakecaretoavoidotheraircraft.Butthepilotflyingtheaircraftwillnotbeinthecockpit:hewillhavehisfeetfirmlyonthegroundinacontrolroombackatWarton.
