"AdvancedAudio-Visualcourse"isabasicellectivecourseforEnglish-majorstudents.Thecoursewillfollowindividualized,prominentpersonalitydevelopmentofteachingprinciples,theapplicationofmoderneducationaltechnology,andimplementationofnetworkself-learningandclassroominstructioncombinedmode.Thecourseaimstocultivateandimprovestudents'listeningcomprehension,verbalskills,andtheabilitytoengageincross-culturalcommunicationsothatstudentscanuseEnglisheffectivelyfortheexchangeofinformationintheirfutureworkandsocialinteraction,whileincreasingtheirself-learningabilityandculturalqualities,andlayasolidfoundationforfuturesustainabledevelopment.3.CurriculumObjectives:三、課程目標TobolsterstudentconfidenceinspeakingEnglish;aboveall,toencouragestudentstobelieveinthemselves,theirabilities,andfindthecouragetoactuallycommunicateusingspokenEnglish.ToincreasestudentauralcomprehensionofEnglishthroughvariousformsofmediaaswellasface-to-faceinteraction.
1、知識與技能目標:1.Knowledgeandskillsobjectives:遵照教育部2007年版《大學英語課程教學要求》,本階段培養(yǎng)學生能聽懂英語談話和講座,能基本聽懂題材熟悉、篇幅較長的英語廣播和電視節(jié)目,語速為每分鐘150-180詞,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要點和相關(guān)細節(jié)。能基本聽懂用英語講授的專業(yè)課程。能用英語就一般性話題進行比較流利的會話,能基本表達個人意見、情感、觀點等,能基本陳述事實、理由和描述事件,表達較流利,語音、語調(diào)基本正確。能在交談中使用有效的會話策略。Incompliancewiththe2007editionoftheMinistryofEducation,CollegeEnglishcurriculumrequirements,studentswillbeabletounderstandconversationsandlecturesinEnglish,familiarthemes,andlengthyEnglishradioandtelevisionprogramsataspeedof150-180wordsperminute,graspingthecentraleffect,andseizingthekeypointsandrelevantdetails.StudentswillhaveabasicunderstandingoftheprofessionalcoursestaughtinEnglish.TheywillbeabletospeakEnglishfluentlyongeneraltopics;expresspersonalopinions,emotions,andviewpoints;makebasicstatementsoffactorreason;anddescribeevents.Students’expressionoffluency,pronunciationandintonationwillbebasicallycorrectandtheywilluseeffectiveconversationalstrategiesinconversation.
2、過程與方法目標:2.Processandmethodobjectives:滿足不同層次學生的需要,實行立體化、網(wǎng)絡化、個性化英語教學、學生上機自主學習和教師授課相結(jié)合。通過網(wǎng)絡學習平臺,學生學習各種情景下的交際技能,反復做聽力、口語練習,獲取大量的語料,然后通過課堂討論和課內(nèi)外活動,使學生既有機會自己實踐,又有機會相互交流學習經(jīng)驗。Tomeettheneedsofstudentsatdifferentlevels,acombinationofthree-dimensionalnetwork,personalizedEnglishteaching,studentindependentlearningandteacherinputwillbeimplemented.Thenetworklearningplatformwillbeusedtomaximizeopportunitiesforstudentstolearncommunicativeskillsthroughavarietyofscenarios,repetitiouslistening,speakingpractice,andwrittenmaterial.Studentswillbeinvolvedindiscussions,lessonsandextra-curricularactivitiessothattheyhaveachancetopracticeandexchangelearningexperiences.3、情感、態(tài)度與價值觀發(fā)展目標:3.Emotional,attitudinalandvalues-developmentobjectives:遵循以學生發(fā)展為本的理念,強調(diào)從學生的學習興趣、生活經(jīng)驗和認知水平出發(fā),倡導體驗、實踐、參與、合作與交流,發(fā)展學生的綜合語言運用能力。合作學習方法使學生團隊精神得到弘揚。通過課外自主學習活動培養(yǎng)學生自我規(guī)劃、自我定向、自我調(diào)整和自我控制的能力,旨在提高學生的綜合素質(zhì),朝國際化人才邁進。Thecourseisdesignedtoimprovetheoverallqualityofstudentstowardsinternationaltalents.Studentsareexpectedtotakeanactiveroleandbeadvocatesintheirownlearningusingtheirinterests,lifeexperiencesandcognitivelevels.Throughpractice,participation,cooperationandexchanges,studentswilldeveloptheabilitytouseEnglishcomprehensively.Acooperativelearningapproachallowsstudentstouseteamwork;independentlearningthroughextra-curricularactivitiesdevelopsstudents'self-planning,self-directed,self-regulationandself-control.四、與前后課程的聯(lián)系4.Pre-andPost-Coursecontact視聽說課程是大學英語的核心基礎課程,需要學生先修一定的聽說讀寫譯的知識。視聽說技能與讀寫譯技能同等重要,為后續(xù)的專業(yè)英語和雙語課教學奠定基礎。

1)普特英語聽力網(wǎng),英語四六級考試學習網(wǎng)上的數(shù)字化音、視頻素材2)與教學相關(guān)的各類英文報紙、雜志和書籍。
3)經(jīng)典英語影視名著和英美國家的流行影視片。

2)English-languagenewspaper,magazinesandbooksrelatedtotheteachingandlearning.

掌握本課程內(nèi)容,學生在課內(nèi)外所要花費的時間為6學時左右。

Attendanceismandatoryforthisclass,asisvocalparticipationinclassdiscussions,Q&A,spokenactivities,partnerandgroupactivities.Participationinindividualandsmall-groupspokenfinalexamsisrequired,asisindividualpronunciationandvocabularystudy/practicebothinsideandoutsidetheclassroom.Studentsareexpectedtocompleteallhomeworkassignmentsandself-studyassignments.Classtimewillaccountfortwohourseachweek.Studentsshouldexpecttospendabouttwohourseachweekonhomeworkandself-studyandabouttwohourseachweekinextra-curricularactivitiesdesignedtoincreasetheiruseoftheEnglishlanguage.Ifstudentsadequatelycompletethein-class,homeworkandself-studyassignmentsandreceiveapassingscoreontheoralandlisteningexams,theywillreceive2creditsfortheclass.
