nonchalantly4byourcar,thissideviewbecamepossible.Thelionpaused,scanningthetrack,

onlyafewfeetawayfromus.Thiswasadream5—Icouldhavehappilyspentallyear

workingonit.

This6wasshotfromthejeep,butIwantedtobeaslowdownaspossible—7level

withthelion.However,Iobviouslywasn't8outofthecar—ourguidewastryingkeepme

9—soIhadtoworkwiththe10Ihad.Photographingwildlifealsomeansdealingwith

11subjects.Ialwaystrytobepreparedforapicture,cameraatthe12,asyouoften

onlygetafewsecondsbeforetheanimalsaregoneagain.Yet,thislion]3gaveusanice

longsessionwithhim.

Originalityissignificantintravelphotography.TheinternetandInstagramweresupposedto
