Sharks:dangersorendangered?

2.Peoplehavealwaysbeenscaredofsharks,butJawsmadethingsworse.Itmadepeoplefrightenedofsharks,especiallyofthegreatwhiteshark.Manypeoplewhosawthefilmstartedtobelievethatsharkswerebadanimalsthatatehumans.Somepeoplestoppedswimminginthesea,afraidofthehorriblecreaturefromthefilm.Otherpeoplestartedfishingforsharks,killingasmanyastheycould.Atthattime,nobodycaredifsharkswerekilledorhowmanywerekilled?Peoplejustwantedthemkilled.

3.After1975,thenumberoflargesharksaroundAfricafellquickly,andsoonfellaroundtheworld.Thiswasnotonlyduetofearofsharks,butalsofinning.Finningisatypeoffishingwheresharksarecaughtandtheirfinscutoff.Thesharksarethrownbackintotheseawheretheydieslowlyandpainfully.Thefinsareusedinsharkfinsoup.Finningkillsmillionsofsharksayear.
